We adore Holly

In the last four years, Holly has fit right into our household. She is observant and attentive with all things, as well as patient, kind and assertive with the boys.

Holly takes the children to activities and often suggests local things to do that are often free or low cost. She's also happy to take them to any activities that we suggest either on foot or by car. My boys are completely at ease with her and trust her like a family member. Holly is considerate, communicative and punctual. She has never once been late to arrive in all the years she has been with us! If she needs to schedule time off or is poorly, she always gives more then ample notice.

Holly first looked after my son from about one when I was going back to work and I always felt comfortable heading off for the day knowing she was with him. Then when my second son was born, she seamlessly took him for short times when he was an infant so I could have a rest and then began looking after both boys when my youngest was one and oldest 3.5.

Holly is lovely - we would absolutely recommend her and also happy to get a personal reference, if needed.

Absolutely brilliant!

Holly has been caring for my son for one day a week since he was three months old (now 15 months). He lights up when the doorbell rings, and whenever I pop downstairs during the day they are always doing interesting activities and I often hear him giggling away. He never wants to let her go at the end of the day! Holly is always punctual and reliable, with very good / clear communication, and will always try and accommodate requests e.g. for help in the evenings / additional days. She's a really calm, lovely person who we are happy to have in our home. We would keep Holly forever if we could!

Not a great first impression

We arranged with Holly for her to pop around for an initial chat. She appeared polite and professional.
A couple of hours before she was due she messaged to cancel and asked if we could reschedule, this was absolutely fine by us so messaged back with our availability as requested.
Holly then replied a couple days later (after the day we suggested) saying she couldn’t now reschedule, which is also fine as we understand different commitments come up.

I was going to reply to say this is fine, but found she had turned her messaging off and there was a message to say we couldn’t view her profile, so guessing she had blocked us as her profile is still active when you search? .
I found this to be very odd behaviour as we had only exchanged 2 polite messages with her.
I couldn’t recommend Holly as we found her unreliable and it was a bit odd.

I am sorry to hear you are not happy with the service you have received during the short time we spoke via messages.
As I explained in our messages, I was unfortunately unable to attend our arranged meet due an emergency that was out of my control.

Could not ask for a better nanny!

We have had Holly now for over 3 years, since my youngest was only 10 weeks old, and she has been nothing short of amazing! All 3 of my children adore her and can't wait for her to arrive each week. She is punctual, tidy and full of amazing activities both indoors and outdoors. Sadly our time with Holly is almost at an end as my youngest child will start school this September and I will be truly gutted to lose her (almost enough to make me consider a 4th child)! However I know that the family who gets her instead will be very lucky and love her as much as we do!

Extremely lucky to have found Holly

Out of all the nanny’s on here we are super lucky to have chosen Holly to look after our baby (15 months now but Holly started when she was 9 months). Rose loves spending her days with Holly and I love getting updates throughout the day of how she’s getting on/ what she’s eating/ pictures etc. Rose has learned so much from Holly already and has perfected her walking by going out on walks with Holly every day and going to the park. I couldn’t imagine ever having another nanny!

Reliable*****

I was lucky enough to find Holly on this website. Holly was my first choice and from our first meeting I knew I made the right decision. Holly worked for our family for two years and my children absolutely adored her and always felt safe in her care. Holly has always been reliable, professional and is a very mature individual. I would recommend Holly to anyone. It was such a great help Holly minding our children in the comfort of their own home and my girls will treasure their memories with Holly forever. Thank you Holly.

Would recommend

I would recommend Holly to anyone with children who require them to be looked after. Holly is polite, friendly, easy going, reliable and has a lovely nature with children. My youngest adores her and loves being in her care. I have no reservations about leaving my children with Holly.
