My daughter has found a home at Zainab's. The serenity and ambience of her setting are superb. You're literally at peace when you hands in your ward...a mother like no other support. I appreciate your wholesome support.
Well what can I say? How amazing Zainab’s setting is for my precious babies! I started with Zainab in 2019 with my first baby who was 9 months old at the time. I was really worried at first but My first baby absolutely thrived at Zainabs with all the staff and children. I’d receive pictures/ videos, and they always made such an effort with her. They helped me with so much navigating motherhood as a first time parent at 21. I am so so grateful I have Zainab and team in my life to help nurture my kids whilst I can work and know they are in the best hands. Since then I’ve had 3 more children (4 children altogether) and they’ve been attending since they were 6 weeks old! That’s how much I trust them. To leave a newborn in their hands knowing they will look after them with the highest level of care. They are so attentive and make my children feel at home. They’ve really helped me with toilet training, weaning my babies on to food and just helping me find my feet in motherhood as a mother of 4. I feel so supported as a parent and can clearly see my children are thriving and learning.
My children are excited to go ‘aunties’ house and the activities they do with them is just amazing. The outings they take them out on is just so lovely. I can’t believe how much they’ve done for all 4 of my children, they really go above and beyond and my kids love them like they are family. I’ve decided not to send my children to a nursery when they turn 3/4 and I will be keeping them all at Zainabs until they are of reception age. My first born who is now 5 still attends Zainabs once a week because they have such a good bond with Zainab and the staff and the kids, & it’s actually so sad that they have to leave here one day.
I recommend Zainab all the time to everyone I come across as I know they will really help children thrive, and make them and the parents ever so comfortable. I am so satisfied with the level of care, attention and service they provide. I wouldn’t want my children to go elsewhere. Zainab looked after my little brother when he was born (I was 16 at the time) so it just shows that she and staff are amazing being in this field for so long (as looking after children is hard work) I honestly don’t have one bad word to say about them. I’ve been with Zainab for 5 years now, 4 children who all still attend (3 of them full time) and she is brilliant. So if you’re reading this, I would just take the plunge and reach out to see how amazing the set up and care is.
The assistants are brilliant and the love that they have for my children are as if they are one of their own. You can really see it and how genuine everything is.
Thank you so much Zainab and Team, genuinely do not know what I’d do without you all 💗
I initially had high hopes for Iris’s childcare setting, but my experience left me deeply concerned about professionalism, communication, and safeguarding standards.
On 18 November 2024, I left my 1-year-old daughter in Iris’s care for a settling-in session. I dropped her off at 9:00 am and picked her up around 11:00/11:30 am. During this time, I made six calls to Iris, and my sister called three times as well. Despite having two assistants working with her and keeping her phone on loud—as I had observed during my visit when she took a call while showing me around—Iris did not answer or acknowledge my attempts to contact her. A simple response, such as a quick text or instructing her assistants to reply on her behalf, would have been sufficient, but I received nothing.
When I finally received a picture of my daughter, she looked exhausted from crying. I understand that settling-in sessions can be challenging for children and that Iris has many kids to look after, but the complete lack of communication during this period was shocking and unacceptable. As a parent, this made me feel ignored and deeply worried about my daughter’s well-being.
To make matters worse, Iris’s follow-up texts were unprofessional and dismissive. She suggested I stop working if I “couldn’t handle it” and accused me of having “trust issues.” This was not about trust—it was about the basic expectation of communication during my daughter’s settling-in session. Her response completely disregarded my valid concerns and showed a lack of empathy.
Additionally, I believe it is important to highlight that sharing details of my situation with another childminder without my consent is a potential breach of confidentiality under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Further concerns included hygiene issues, such as a staff member with visible paan (betel nut) in her teeth, and organizational lapses like handing my daughter the wrong coat at pick-up. While minor on the surface, these incidents added to my lack of confidence in the setting’s attention to detail.
Another point of unprofessionalism was when my sister, who had found Iris’s profile on this website, discovered that she had been blocked by Iris. Blocking a concerned parent instead of addressing the issues raised is highly unprofessional and raises further concerns about transparency.
I have since reported my concerns to Ofsted and have screenshots of the unprofessional and inappropriate messages Iris sent to me. While her setting is well-equipped with plenty of toys and a good environment for children, her attitude and behavior when issues arise are deeply concerning.
I strongly recommend avoiding this provider. It’s essential to ensure that both the physical environment and the people caring for your child meet the highest standards of professionalism and care.

Response by zainab92 on 22/11/2024:
I have been a member of this site for 15 years and have consistently had good reviews from parents who have actually been with me for years.
This parent came for a trial and her daughter was with me for 1 and half hour after which she destroys someone’s hard earned reputation in a second.
That says more about her than me.
I feel confident that any parent looking for care will believe genuine parents and reviews and see this for vindictive review for what it is.
My son has been going to Zainab’s setting since he was 11 month old.
I had mum guilt when I first sent my son to the setting but rest assured when Zainab’s communication with me was outstanding! I received pics and videos of my son throughout the weeks and met with the staff to see how he was settling in.
I noticed my son’s speech over time had drastically improved and he learnt his colours, shapes, numbers and alphabet whilst being at the setting.
He loved the outdoor play during summer and the visit to the fruit market and local parks.
Zainab has been very accommodating to my work pattern and flexible with last minute changes for my son to attend the setting.
Thank you for being a great childminder for my son!
My daughter, aged 2, started in April 2024 for the first time. As a parent I was very nervous, bur Zainab and her team had made Aiza feel so comfortable within the setting.
Aiza was less talkative before she started with Zainab, but since she's been going there, she makes a lot conversations and bringing her sentences together.
Aiza loves all the food provided by the team and they also give snacks and ensure the kids are definitely not hungry.
Aiza loves playing in the outside setting such as sand, slide and water. She would tell me what she had done when playing outside.
Aiza is always keen and happy to go to the childminders and doesnt want to go home. She would always tell me and her dad about "baby house" (her way ot saying childminder).
Aiza had also visited Queens Park and she absolutely loved it.
Zainab and her team are absolutely great with all the children.
