Hi, my name is Lisa and I live in Shirley, Solihull. I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for over 20 years and thoroughly enjoy my job. I have 2 adult children and 3 gorgeous grandsons.
I live within easy reach of Solihull town centre, local colleges, within walking distance of Highlands Road Business Park and Cranmore Park and a short distance away from Blythe Valley Business Park, I am also close to the M42 motorway link and local bus routes.
The service I provide is very flexible to meet the needs of individual families.
I do lots of activities with the children and we regularly attend playgroups and go out and about so the children get lots of learning experiences. I have a large enclosed garden which we regularly spend time in.
I have 2 lovely dogs who all the children adore.
My Experience
During my years as a childminder I have cared for children from a just a few weeks old to teenagers.
I have worked for a number of families who do shift work so am used to early starts and late finishes! I also have experience of caring for twins.
I am current Chairperson for Solihull Childminding Group.
I have all relevant qualifications and insurances.

My Availability
Monday - Friday 7.30am to 6.00pm. I am flexible so may be able to work outside of these times.
I provide full time, part time, short term and wraparound care. I also provide TERM TIME ONLY and SCHOOL HOLIDAY contracts.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.75 per hour
Please contact me for details of my current fees and any offers I may have available. I have a number of different fee structures dependant upon what days/hours are needed.
I am registered to provide the government 15 and 30 hours funded hours.

Lisa came to my rescue this summer and cared for my two year old twins. She made the process so easy from introduction to drop off's. She is a natural with children and my twins have had a great time, they are always well cared for, happy and tired when I pick them up. Lisa kept me abreast of their activities every visit, with pictures via WhatsApp, which was great to see and easy for me to access, as opposed to logging into a certain app to access information. When I requested additional ad-hoc visits, Lisa was able to come back to me quickly and let me know availability. Her communication was just fab.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lisa and will use her services again in the future.

Lisa has been a wonderful childminder to our 1 and 3 year old boys. We chose Lisa because of her experience, calm, professional and caring nature and because she came highly recommended by other parents with children in her care. Lisa is down to earth, friendly and provides the children with a very stimulating environment including regular organised activities and varied trips out and about to all sorts of interesting places! Our 3 year old even sometimes asks to go to Lisa's at a weekend, which is lovely (albeit slightly disappointing for us as parents)! Lisa has been incredibly flexible and patient with us as parents when we have asked for last minute changes to the weekly childcare rota due to work commitments. We honestly cannot recommend her highly enough and we are all incredibly upset to be leaving her due to relocation to a different part of the country.
