About Me
I'm a OFSTED registered childminder, I decided to change my job to fit in with my family and it's something that I've always been passionate about, I have 2 children of my own 5 & 11 years old who attending school. I offer a warm, fun, exciting educational, welcoming setting; which is a secure, safe environment. The children will have access to our garden area which will have plenty of fun activities to do.
All our childcare sessions from breakfast club to after school activities and holiday club are designed and planned to give maximum opportunity to children to get extra help with their physical activities if they wish.
I offer a home from home setting and treat you children as if they were my own. I provide children and parents with structure, routine which gives the child the opportunity to grow into a unique boy or girl and to meet other children of different cultures & ages to help along their journeys with the time spent in my setting.
I am happy to assist each child with any additional needs, so that they can develop and growing to their full potential.
During school holidays, different exciting activities are arranged for the children including trips to places of which they will enjoy a variety of activities and outings to local groups during the week including the library, soft play areas, toddlers groups and Nature walks. We also enjoy plenty of play time at home. I have the main play room where children can play with things such as train tracks, cars, construction toys, painting, messy play, puzzles and of course the much loved role play, as well as plenty of board games for all ages,
( I do offer Tax free childcare scheme, which means you get a discount from the government when you sign up and pay into this account)
I have a childcare assistant to support the children in breakfast club, day care and after school club, that have also obtained a DBS Certificate, Paediatric First Aid and booked on to a safeguarding course.

I have 2 children of my own age 11 & 5 and have worked as a teaching assistant in various different schools.
My Qualifications
OFSTED registered, First Aid qualified, L3 Childcare certified, Safeguarding Awareness, COVID-19 updated, awareness. I have completed extra courses in Supporting Children with ADHD, Health & Safety ICT and Digital Skills.

- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Full day - £40 per day Includes some snacks (formula, nappies, wipes are not included).
Half days - £26

Teresa has child minded my eldest, now 9 from around age 6/7 during half terms and now childminds my youngest (2) 3 days a week. They both enjoy their days at Teresa's. It's lovely that Teresa takes them out frequently to soft play, walks, play parks etc. Always doing activities at home if they don't go out due to rainy days. Huge back garden with plenty of space to play. I moved my youngest from nursery to Teresa and it's been the best decision I've made. A lot more involvement and getting out and about. Her speech and confidence has come on really well. I have never been let down by Teresa either, very reliable. The home is kept exceptionally clean and tidy. Thank you Teresa for all your hard work 💐

My son and daughter have been with Teresa for many years now I wouldn't want them to go anywhere else, she provides a home from home for the children, she goes above and beyond to help. I couldn't recommend her more !
She's had my son since he was a baby and she is definitely part of our family, she has been a big influence in his growing and learning.
I couldn't ask for a better childminder.

Teresa is caring, flexible and enthusiastic. It has really been a safe space away from home for my son since we started using her services. She provides lots of fun and creative activities which my son enjoys a lot and her flexibility is one which we appreciate so much. I wouldn’t fail to mention her crisp attention to hygiene and safety. We are glad to have found Teresa.

Teresa , has been a God send. Due to my child complex behaviours we have struggled to find somewhere where my child settles. But since joining tersea's she has made my child feel welcome and at home! She is also firm which is what my child needs. teresa has gone above and beyond which other childminders would not. always hot meals available also

I needed emergency childcare, and Teresa was a god send. My little boy was settled within minutes and lived his time with her completely. I highly recommend. I truly appreciate this amazing woman and sending me updates throughout the day if needed. LO loved the environment and had no issues.

Thanks, you are welcome, it was a pleasure looking after your little boy and helping you out in emergency.
I was a bit worried about my boy settling in at Teresa's as we really loved his previous childcare setting but had to move suddenly. I initially needed Teresa's service for emergency childcare, but I ended up staying full-time!
The diversity of her setting is something I admire and always wanted for my children- a place where they can feel welcomed and see other kids from various walks of life. It's so lovely that my son calls her "Aunty"!
At pickups, my son always looks like he's had a fulfilled day and the other kids look happy.
Teresa documents their daily activities and takes lovely pictures too.
Another thing I appreciate is Teresa's flexibility and understanding- which are attributes of a true mother figure. Teresa is very welcoming and the kids seem to love her and her setting.
Once my girl asked why we have to drive over all these speed bumps to get to her brother's nursery, I said to her that's so her brother can still get mummy's loving care while mummy is at work:)

Teresa is a very reliable childminder and has always been there since my baby was less than a year old. She often goes the extra mile and I highly recommend.

Its really important to know your children are in a setting that's comfortable and caring.
Teresa has been looking after my 2 year old daughter for well over a year now, coming up to 18 months soon. Teresa has also looked after my 5 year old at her after school club with after school pick up that my daughter loves. Teresa and her family have really welcomed us and know our daughters well.
When I read the activities of the day and view the photos, I wonder how its possible to pack so much in! In addition to all the adventure, Teresa serves a very tasty sounding menu.
Teresa is very accommodating and flexible, supplying to parents and children's needs, which is what's needed in a full time working busy home, that's time poor. There's a lot of good childminders, excellent ones and this review takes nothing from them, since they all have their advantages too. Teresa has something I have not seen before and it just seems to come naturally - childcare seems to be absolutely second-nature for Teresa. You can see Teresa enjoys engaging with the children and they love her also.
My two year old has a special dance for "Aunty Teresa" - she sings and jumps around when Teresa arrives!
I want to take this opportunity to say, thank you Teresa.

Teresa’s been an excellent, reliable and responsible childminder. She’s been flexible with things, picking and dropping our kids which is super convenient to us. She has range of activities to keep children busy and she also takes them to park.

My two girls started with Teresa in September 2021 and they have been enjoying their school pick up and drop off. I believe Teresa is treating my girls well and they always come home to tell me all the fun they have in her house. It’s a nice environment with a mix of different ethnic backgrounds which gives all the kids there the taste of everything when it comes to meeting different kids. I highly recommend Teresa to all parents around Bestwood village and within the community. She is an amazing woman and has time for kids.❤️
