About Me

My name is Leanne, i am an Ofsted Registered Childminder and have been registered since 4th February 2009.
I live in Rawdon, I have 3 wonderful children, a girl age 19, a boy age 14 and a little boy aged 5 years. Previously to Childminding i worked for 15 years in the media business as a Team Leader, managing a team of people and due to closure of the department i decided to take up a career in childcare as i would benefit from the luxury of staying at home and been able to bring up my own children as well as helping out parents who work themselves.

We live in a child friendly 3 bedroom house in Rawdon with a good sized enclosed back garden with swings and slide and a separate playroom on the first floor allocated for my child minding with toilet facilities on the same floor. Both inside and outside are equipped with a variety of different toys for all ages and stages of development. I work with the EYFS, helping children to reach their Early Years goals.

Your child will be cared for in a home from home environment and will receive a lot of individual attention as well enjoying the environment with other children.

I offer lots of activities for children such as arts & crafts, play dough, activity games and puzzles, role play, painting, cooking, books, gardening, singing and music, toddler groups and a variety of other outings ie: local parks, Yeadon Tarn, Emsley's Farm, indoor play areas etc.... as i am a great believer in developing children through lots of activity and play.

I like to encourage healthy eating as much as possible and a child's nutrition is of great importance to me. I provide good quality home cooked meals and snacks on a daily basis for the children.
