About Me
Hello, my name is Maxine and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I am accredited to offer free early years education for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. At my last inspection I was awarded good.
I live in Great Harwood and have a three bedroomed house with a fully secure rear garden. I live with my husband Paul and we have two children. My daughter is 22 and my son is 20. We also have two cats Casper and Felix.
My mum is registered as my assistant and she has over 30 years experience as a childminder. She helps out when needed which offers great flexibility having an extra pair of hands.
I also work closely with a group of childminders. We meet up throughout the week for playgroup, outings and also have our own allotment. The childminders offer support to help cover my holidays or illness.

My Experience
I have been registered for 19 years and have experience of working with a range of children from birth. I have experience of working with children with downs syndrome, Type 1 diabetes and stroke.
I run a parent and toddler playgroup at St Bartholomews Parish Church in Great Harwood on a Tuesday morning.
Previously to childminding, I was a stay at home mum when my daughter and son were born. Before this I worked as a Medical Secretary and also a personal secretary in the NHS.

My Availability
I work Monday - Thursday and my basic opening hours are 8.00 am until 5.00 pm, although I will offer some flexibility.
