My Summary
About Me
I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A TWO DAY A WEEK POSITION- THURS & FRI
I’ve Been caring for children for 17 years. I was a nanny for two years before moving on to Nursery work for five years. Working my way to room leader in 3 of the 4 nurseries I worked at. I then decided to get back into nannying which is my current position and has been for seven + years since. Along with working with many families over the years of all age ranges, I have also done night nannying for newborns for a couple families over the last year alongside my day nannying positions giving me more experience in both areas of my work.
Full clean and recent DBS check
Clean full drivers licence with own car

My Experience
I am a fully qualified childcare practitioner with 17 years experience, including 3 years studying for my Level 2 & 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
• Currently looking after a 2.5 year old and newborn due Feb 2025, 3 days a week. I am also doing temp nursery work until I find a 2 day a week position to fill my weeks
• previously looking after a 4year old and a one year old who I’ve looked after since he was newborn. This position is coming to an end due to the older child going to school and the younger starting nursery. I will be available start of September 2024
• Temp cover for several families over a few months recently - twin 6 year olds, and another family, a 1 year old. As well as looking after newborn baby twins doing night nannying 2-4 nights a week
• Full time nanny looking after a 6month old baby and a 2.5 year old
• Alongside my Previous nanny position I was also doing night nannying for newborn twins
• Previously, I was a nanny share (working with two families split between the week). One family I care for a 1year old and 3 year old, and the other family I look after a 1year old and 4year old.
• I worked a nanny position with twin 15 month olds and a 4 year old.
• I nannied for a 7 month old whilst being a nanny share for another family other days of the week - this position has sadly come to an end due to yet another lockdown and the mum being at home and homeschooling her eldest child so I was not essential work. As well as being a night nanny for a newborn 3 nights a week.
• Sole charge nanny - I looked after a 2 year old whilst being a nanny share caring for other families children throughout the week. This position has ended due to the family relocating.
• I looked after twin 4 year olds for a few months after lockdown to help a family out whilst they work from home and needed someone to care for their children. This position ended due to the children returning to school.
•Due to Convid-19 I was working as a nanny looking after twin 2 year olds and have been for just under a year. That family position sadly ended because of COVID-19 affecting the parents work and financial income. Before that position, I looked after two older school aged children before and after school as well as full time during school breaks and did light housework too to work up more hours. I was with them for a year and a half.
• I have worked in 4 Nurseries, gaining many years of experience (5 years in total) with working with all age groups of children and have been on various training courses to gain more knowledge. as a result to all my hard work i have worked my way up the ladder to being prompted to Room Leader in 3 of the Nursery settings I've worked at.
• I have 2 1/2years experience working as a Nanny, caring for 16 children overall since starting in July 2010, including 4 sets of twins, a newborn and a child with special educational needs and older siblings. Most of my work coming from word of mouth.
Throughout my three years studying I have had the opportunity to work in a range of 8 placement settings including: Nurseries, After-school and breakfast clubs, Schools, Playgroups and a family home. Working with all age ranges from birth to 7 years.
