I am a versatile individual who communicates with all age groups. Good at making friends as I can adapt and communicate with everyone. Experience
FULL TIME SOLE CHARGE NANNY/ TODD FAMILY (2018-PRESENT
I have been working as a full time sole care position with 4 years old and 6 years old boys. When I started with the Todd family, the eldest was only 5,5 months old. I am still currently working with Todd family however the mother has now left her work so I’m now looking for a new family to start new chapter in my career development.
I looked after both boys since they were babies, always in the sole charge position and on average of 55h per week. During first year I worked as nanny share position for a year with another baby girl and both kids were around 9 months by then.
I have travelled with family as well as travelled only with the kids many on several occasions. I worked as proxy parents at least few weeks per year. Both boys are super active and I organize all of their the daily activities from morning to evening, making sure they are very active and growing up confidently and happy.
Both boys are very independent, active and they are above their development level. During these years I completed my Maternity nurse Level 4 and I gained more experience with babies.
Full time Sole Charge Nanny/PA – HAIDRY Family Nov 2013 –2018
I have worked with the Haidry family for the last 3 years as a Personal Assistant and nanny. The Boys were 2 and 4 years old when I started. Harry and Jamie are super active, energetic and lovely boys. My duty is organizing their daily activities, taking them to school and picking up from school by car (half an hour drive away). My other duties consist of helping with their homework and organizing different activities that make homework time more playful and fun. I also create new games and educational tasks to help the boys learn quickly. In doing this I explain with examples and take a more proactive approach. Since starting I focused on helping the boys overcome their shyness and make them more confident with others through lots of activities. This includes listening and understands their emotional needs so as to avoid stress in the learning process. Teaching about their responsibilities and to be organized for daily activities/school work has been an important focus. Instructing the boys in health and personal habits, hygiene and healthy eating habits. Organizing and participating in recreational activities. Assisting in preparing food, serving meals for kids. Ensuring they are eating a healthy and balanced diet. Organizing and storing toys and materials in activity areas. Making sure they are safe including the garden/outdoors and are based on the needs/developmental stage of the children cared for at the time of the risk assessment. Risk assessments always reviewed on a regular basis. Being careful and carrying out medicines for Jamie's allergies. Always being prepared for emergency purposes. Updating the family regularly and advising about development. Working with other child-minder network groups to build positive and professional relationships with parents/carers, schools, playgroups, toddler groups, children’s centers and other child-minders. Making sure the boys are having fun and socializing. During School and half terms I organize lots of different activities so boys can explore and discover new thins whilst learning to be active. The family has a busy schedule and I was responsible with everything related to the family such as, dealing with builders, property development (as family had another house with tenants), organizing birthday events, organizing DIY people to come and fix housing issues etc.
Experience
Sole Charge Nanny – DENNY Family January 2008 - present
Nanny duties including, school runs for two children and staying with the youngest one for the entire day; also taking them to after school activities such as football, music classes, swimming and tennis. Organizing playdates with friends. Cooking fresh health meals for lunch and dinner, giving homework support and playing educational games taking them to museums, playgroups, and theatre. I also potty trained Sam and Lara (the youngest child) and travelled with the family to their house in Cornwall on two separate occasions. Children are: 1 boy 6yrs; 1 boy 5 yrs.; 1 girl 3.5 yrs. old.

Since the youngest was born, I have been looking after them sole charge full time position. I have good experience with baby and I am really confident with toddlers. Since mother started working (6 months after) I have been looking after the baby and toddlers at the same time. I have been responsible for looking after three young children, one of them being a baby. Being totally focused on the children, organizing and implementing their daily routines and helping then to grow, learn and develop.
I’m responsible for the safety, wellbeing, care and development of young children. Getting children ready in the morning and taking them to school. Reading to and with the children. Attending any medical appointments or social events with the children. Helping children with after-school activities like homework. Being disciplined with the children when required. Responsible for preparing and feeding meals to children, assisted children bathing and dressing, oversaw playtime and maintained diary of activities, took children out, walks and educational trips, met parents to discuss weekly plans & report problems, Arranged games & other entertainment activities for children to create a positive child care environment.
Because of my Montessori course I am applying the knowledge to check the children’s ability and get more focus on their needs.
I am sadly leaving this family because youngest girls will start to nursery and they won’t need my services in a regular basis as before.
