About Me
My name is Toni, and I live in Norton with my Husband Geraint and my two beautiful daughters Lisla (age 16 and Harriet aged 12 ) and our dog Logan.
My Setting is a happy, safe, well managed environment where the children in my care are encouraged to develop social skills and grow as individuals. I aim to help towards giving them a good foundation in life in partnership with their parents / carers to set them up to be successful in what every they choose to do later in life.
I am a fully qualified childminder and Ofsted registered, I hold a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate and am fully insured.
It is my aim to work closely with you the parent / carer to ensure we can give your child continuity of care. I believe as the main educators and primary carers we need to work together to ensure your child receives only the best care possible enabling them to achieve the very best in every thing they do in every aspect of their development. You know your child best and I will take my lead from you.
I aim to provide an environment for your children and mine that is stimulating and exciting on a daily basis, while providing a safe and nurturing place in which they can grow as individuals and receive the care and attention each child needs. You can be rest assured that your child will be cared for in an environment filed with kindness, love and respect. And I will care for each child in my care as I do my own.
While you child is in my care I will ensure that they are involved in developmentally-appropriate activities through the day. Children will enjoy:
Daily trips to the park where they can burn off some excess energy, or they can enjoy play time in our back garden which is safe and secure, with a range of out door toys to keep them entertained and active, Storey time, Show and Tell, Puzzles and Games, Computer Time, Arts and Craft, Music, Sing and Sign for the younger ones, Pre-reading Activities and much more......
We attend child play groups each week to help develop and encourage social interaction. Field trips are also a regular occurrence in order to help your child to learn about the world around them. Field trips will include places such as: Nature reserves, The Farm and National Trust Gardens. Their day will always be full of fun and full of excitement!
My Experience
I am a fully qualified childminder and Ofsted registered, I hold a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate and am fully insured.
I am also a mother of 2 girls aged 16 and 12.
A also use baby sign to support communication with the younger children in my care.
My Qualifications
I have Passed the required childcare units Y/600/9770 for understanding how to set up a home based childcare service as required by Ofsted.

Our little boy has been with toni twice a week since may 2021. He comes home such a happy little boy after being at Toni’s. He’s excited to tell us what he’s been doing with Toni, where he’s been and who he’s played with that day. He comes home with homework every week that is accommodating to his particular skill/mindset and very relevant to what he should be learning at his age. We couldn’t recommend toni enough. Our boy has come on leaps and bounds from being just 1 to now 3 years of age! She’s really made an impact on his learning and helping us as parents also with tips to grow and develop him further at home. Couldn’t be without toni! - thank you!

Our little boy (16 months) has been going to Toni’s since March 2022, having worked in childcare myself before having my little one, I know first hand the hard work, love and care that goes into looking after another persons child. In the time that we have known Toni and Lucas being in her care, I have not one bad thing to say. Toni is so caring and supportive and since going to hers, Lucas has learnt so much. He settled in immediately, gets so excited to see her, which truly shows how lovely and warm welcoming Toni is. We are now at the point that when we walk by Toni’s house, Lucas points at the gates and then continues to get upset when we don’t turn towards them and instead walk by. His great grandparents live close by so this is a regular occurrence for us. We can’t thank Toni enough for the incredible care and fun memories she is creating with our little boy!

My little boy has been going to Toni's for 18 months and it is safe to say he absolutely loves it and adores Toni!
The care that Toni provides is exceptional and gives us such peace of mind knowing that Ollie is settled and happy!
Originally our little boy was only going to Toni's for 6 months but due to the relationship that both we and our little boy had made with Toni we could not move him and decided for him to permanently stay with Toni, which says alot.
Toni always encourages learning through play and keeps us up to date with themes that the children are focusing on each week, like this last week was Autumn. We love that Ollie has homework on a weekly basis and keeps us involved with what he is learning and each work he comes on so much with his development and this is mostly down to Toni and how good she is.
We love that Toni also takes the children out and about to museums, parks and even farms which is so amazing as this is something I know not all childminders do.
Our little boy really does think the world of Toni and so do we and we are so grateful for everything that she does.

My daughter has been going to Toni’s for almost a year now and I couldn’t be happier with how it is going. I was extremely nervous about leaving my daughter with someone, especially after spending so much time at home (Lockdown!!) but Toni made the transition so easy. It is clear that my daughter loves spending time with Toni and that Toni has taken the time to really get to know her. I love the photo updates throughout the day. My daughter is always having so much fun and has come on in leaps and bounds. Thank you so much.

My daughter has been with Toni since she was a baby. She is now 2 years old and absolutely loves going to her house! She is always busy crafting, going out on adventures and I get to live her day through the photos she sends while I work. Knowing she is with someone who cares as much as Toni does has made the transition from stay at home lockdown mum to full time working mum much easier. Highly highly recommended!!

My daughter has attended Toni’s since she was 6 months old. She absolutely loves going and goes in with a smile.
As a working parent knowing my daughter is happy and loves interaction with the other children. Toni is very kind, caring and communicates throughout the day with regular updates which as a working mum is a great support.
She loves the adventures and different activities she does everyday.
Toni is very reliable, flexible and trustworthy.
Highly recommend Toni, as a first time mum in lockdown choosing a childminder was a big decision for me, I’m glad I chose Toni

Toni is amazing at her job and will do anything to accommodate the needs of the individual child. My son particularly liked going out every day somewhere different which built up his social skills as well as his confidence being with other children in the setting. He was able develop in a very caring environment and felt very secure. My daughter who was a little older loved helping
out with the younger children before and after school and had a great relationship with Toni’s daughters. There was always an activity to hand after school and Toni could always pitch everything to the right level. I would highly recommend her!

My little Boy loves going to Toni,s House!, he tells me all about his exciting day as soon as I pick him up.
Toni is a fantastic Childminder, she is super organized and incredibly reliable and efficient.
Toni runs her days with lots of outdoor play, whether that be park trips, museums, various playgroups and soft play fun. Her activities are tailored to the changing seasons and to the likes of my son, he always brings home beautiful artwork and special mothers day, Christmas and Valentine gifts made whilst in the setting. Toni also looks after my eldest son for school holiday cover, and after school. He is well catered for and his likes, interests and needs and age are taken into account when planning activities, they both love Drusilla's outings. Its great to know that after a day in school he can go to Toni's and play outside.

Our daughter loves being with Toni, she happily runs off whenever we drop her off. Toni provides an excellent service. Varied activities, close supervision, willingness to accommodate different circumstances, flexibility. We could not want for a better place for our daughter to be when we are at work. She comes back with things she's made, Toni has suggestions for play activities, books etc. I feel every day I pick my daughter up after Toni's, she has grown and learnt from the activities

We absolutely love Toni! From the very first time we met her she made us feel very comfortable and she really helped my son (and then daughter) settle in well which made it much easier for me to return to work. Toni has a super organised home that my two children love being in. When my children are with Toni they are constantly on the go, whether it be arts & crafts at home, off to one of the many play groups they attend each week, book clubs, the park, to see some animals or playing with her own children when they are not at school. We also love our book that we get to take home each week and more often than not this is a favourite each week for bedtime.
Toni keeps an impressive record of how the children are progressing with the most lovely pictures which is just amazing to look back at and see how are little babies are growing and developing.
Toni has been our childminder for almost 2 years now and we wouldn’t change her for the world. Top marks from all our family!
