About Me
I am a mother of 3, currently 27,18and 16, We have a cat and a rabbit, a tortoise a toy poodle and a cockerpoo, I have a dedicated playroom for my mindees, with a large selection of toys and play resources, updated and changed accordingly. My garden is secure and has a wide variety of toys to play and investigateand we love getting out to parks/woods etc x
My Experience
I am an ofsted registered childminder little squishies and I have been childminding since 2007 and a nanny before then, I live in codicote and do drops to and from codicote school, nursery and preschool. I hold a current first aid certificate and keep updated with all aspects of the EYFS and its requirements. I have a 5* rating from environmental health. I regularly attend courses to improve my knowledge and service. We attend playgroups, zoos and farms and have as much fun as we can, visiting as many places as we can, suited to the needs and interests of the children. I incorporate forest school into our outside activities, in the woods, parks and many fields we have access to.

My son has been going to Jo since he was in reception, he’s now in year 3. Jo is great with the children, and my son loves it there. He even asks to go on the days he’s not booked in! I feel my
Son is in a safe setting when he attends. Thank you Jo 😁.

It eases my mum-guilt to leave my baby girls with Jo. She really loves them and i can tell the girls love being with her too, they're always happy when she comes to pick them up and she always have something planned for them, let it be baby club or picnic in the park. Because she has children of her own, I know she would treat them with the same care as hers and she has huge experience with kids of all ages. We're very happy to have her as our child minder.

My youngest daughter started here when my oldest started school. She settled in very quickly. For me, it was important to find the right childminder for my clingy daughter and I wasn't disappointed at all. Jo creates a home from home environment and her genuine love for all her mindees is immediately very obvious. My daughter felt very much a part of Jo's family and formed close bonds with other children within the setting. Food choices are great, don't be surprised to collect your children and find they are just finishing a full roast! They are always up to something or off somewhere fun. Another plus is that Jo recognises life doesn't always go to plan and is very accomodating in an emergency, as my commute involves the A1, this was very welcome. When I increased my working hours my oldest daughter attended after school too and she was also very happy. I only wish I had found Jo sooner rather than subject my eldest to private nursery, the difference really is night and day!

JoJo offers a home-from-home experience for young children and genuinely loves everyone she looks after. My daughter was with JoJo full time from when she was 9 months old until Reception when we had to leave because we couldn't get into the local school.
I would recommend JoJo to anyone looking for a loving and nurturing environment for their little ones...
