About Me
Hi, my name is Esther, I am approachable, kind and caring and I have a passion for working with children of all ages.
I would describe my nannying style as a mix between respectful parenting with elements of Montesorri principles. As a nanny I encourage independence and child led play - I thoroughly enjoy looking after children, arranging fun and enjoyable outings to keep children busy and active without the use of screens, but also like to plan simple activities to support their development. Whether that's through exploring the outdoors, swimming, visiting local parks or play areas. But also helping to develop children's creativity and curiosity through painting, reading, messy play, baking/cooking to name just a few.
I’m happy to assist with all aspects of childcare, including:

My Experience
I have over 16 years of babysitting experience and more than 14 years as a nanny, working with families whose children ranged in age from newborns to teenagers.
During my Early Childhood degree, I gained hands-on experience in nurseries, pre-schools, and primary schools, caring for children aged 6 months to 8 years.
In one of my previous roles, I worked with a family for 3.5 years. When I started, their only child was 12 months old, and by the time I left to move to the Cotswolds, the family had grown to include two children aged 2.5 and 4.5 years. My schedule typically involved 12-hour days, at least three times a week, although this varied depending on the parents’ work commitments. My responsibilities included school drop-offs and collections, potty training, accompanying the children to swimming lessons, managing children’s laundry, preparing and cooking their meals, and providing occasional overnight care. I also supported the family with bath and bedtime routines and spent lots of time enjoying activities at home, attending weekly groups, and exploring the local area. When the youngest was a baby, I helped with weaning, bottle feeding, and sterilising.
Since July 2021, I have been working full-time for a family with four children, who are now aged 6 months, 2, 4, and 6 years old, as of February 2024.
In recognition of my work, I was honoured to be a finalist for the 2024 Nanny of the Year Award.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies - 2:1 (2013)
A levels in Health & Social Care, Psychology and English Literature.
10 GCSE's A-C, including Maths, English and Science.
-Current DBS check.
-Clean drivers licence and my own car.
-Certificate in paediatric first aid.
Happy to become OFSTED registered if needed.

- Nannying from £19.00 per hour (gross)
My fees reflect my 14+ years of professional nannying experience and my Early Childhood degree. This rate is in line with what I have been paid in previous roles and represents the high level of care, expertise, and dedication I bring to each family I work with.
