About Me
My name is Vicky and live with my husband and two children. We have 2 rabbits and a Cat too. I have been an Ofsted registered Childminder since 2000 and before that I was a nanny.
I am an active childminder and so are my two boys. We love to do various activities during the week. We attend toddler groups, children centres, parks, soft play centres and the deep. I try to maintain a good routine as young children do require a routine to help them learn, understand and to gain confidence. During the school holidays when most of these groups are closed we like to visit parks, museums, farms, beach or just stay home and play and do
craft if it's raining outside.
I have no availability now as full. Sorry
The school I cover is Bricknell primary school but i have no availability at the moment.
I do not work weekends.
My Experience
I have been an ofsted registered Childminder since 2000 and before that I was a nanny. I also work with children age 5+ in a youth organisation one evening a week. I have an NNEB Nursery Nursing qualification too
My Qualifications
NNEB (Nursery Nursing qualification) First Aid.
Child protection.
Food Hygiene.
Level one in sign language.
I have had experience of working with children with additional needs also.
I have had experience of working with families who have adopted children also.
My Availability
I have no availability for summer 2022. I am currently Full.

Our daughter was 9 months when I went back to work and I couldn't recommend Vicky enough.
She provides a stimulating environment for children, her house is full of a wide variety of toys and books.
She is always out and about with the children in her care including trips to the deep, the library, toddler play group sessions, the park and lots more. I receive updates and photos whilst at work (I ask for them!) I love seeing how much fun my little girl is having. I feel she really benefits from the diverse range of activities she gets to take part in.
Vicky's own little boys are great with my daughter and have welcomed her into their home.
Vicky is professional and has always being flexible when we have needed. We feel reassured whilst we are at work that our daughter is being well looked after, is safe and is learning whilst having fun!

Vicky has looked after my son for 4 years; he will start school soon. My son is happy and relaxed in his setting with Vicky. He regularly attends various toddler groups and goes on outings; he is treated as one of the family. I have found Vicky to be friendly and flexible, I know that my child is being taken care of and is happy when I am working - giving me one less thing to worry about!
