About Me
I am a ofsted registered childminder.
I have a positive attitude, a warm and approachable personality. I am hard working, enthusiastic and love supporting children through their development using my qualifications and previous experience.
I am located in south hayes (Denbigh Drive) which is a quiet cul de sac. I live in three bedroom house with my husband and three children plus my cat Whiskers. I have a garden with secure fencing which children are able to use on a daily basis.
In my setting I provide a range of age appropriate activities painting, baking, singing, storytime etc. in addition to this I visit libraries, parks, and indoor play areas to keep children occupied and entertained.
My services also provides healthy hot/cold meals and snacks which meet the parents dietary requirements. Alternatively parents can also provide their own food.
Parking is not a problem for collecting and dropping off children as you can park on the drive.

My Experience
I have worked with children and families for 21 years this also includes working with children with disabilities. This type of work has exposed me to working in a variety of settings including private and state nurseries, primary schools, special needs play schemes, out reach worker for special needs children, organising parenting support groups, organising outings for parent and toddlers/children. organising and running play groups for children and parents.
I hold a diploma in nursery nursing, peadiatric first aid, CYPOP 5 - setting up a home based childminding business. I have been on safeguarding, challenging behaviour and CAF training.

I'm forever grateful for the exceptional care and support Faicka has provided for my son from 1 year old to starting school. After an unsettling experience prior to her care, Faicka worked her magic, making him feel welcomed and loved almost instantly. She's created a nurturing environment where he's thrived, developing outstanding educational skills, such as writing his name, recognising sounds, and numbers ahead of his age. She's also instilled essential life skills like independence and self-care. What truly sets her apart is the emotional intelligence and kindness she's nurtured in him, teaching him to treat others with respect and stand up for himself. His excitement to go to her every day and huge respect for her is a testament to her dedication and love. Although I'm sad he's moving on to school, I know he's well-prepared thanks to Faicka. I wish he could stay with her forever! 5 stars isn't enough – she's truly made a lasting impact on my child's life.

Tia Faicka, as my son lovingly calls her, is an amazing childminder. My son has been at her setting for over two years and he was very well looked after. The one to one attention he has received made a big difference to his confidence, reading, writing and learning abilities. She recently received an "Outstanding" Ofsted rating and rightly so as her dedication and hardwork with the children really shines through, she's truly amazing with children. Her setting has always been very flexible to accomodate my work schedule and I'm so grateful to her for preparing my son so well for school. He is now well settled at school and has learnt all his basics very well at her setting. I couldn't be more grateful for all her support which has helped us raised such a wonderful and respectful little boy.

Faicka joined in looking after my son Alex since he was 1 year old, until he reached age of Reception. Faicka's extensive experience and always loving and positive attitude allowed me to very quickly trust her and create wonderful friendship. Faicka supported Alex in all his developmental milestones, allowing him to learn and flourish in the best possible way. Working along with another childminder, gave Alex the best start and I am so ever grateful for this! I would receive daily photo and video updates on activities. Alex always knew his daily routine, he felt very safe and happy in the environment. Communication with Faicka was always very easy, and any worries were always highlighted. Faicka delivers in every aspect of the childcare, providing safe, kind, loving, caring and fun environment for the child to grow and flourish.

Our son was with Faicka for over 10 months and he absolutely adored her! She is so professional, caring and knowledgeable about what she does. She helped us so much as first time parents to understand our child’s development and she cared for him just like her own. If we hadn’t have relocated for far away, our son would definitely still be in her care. We love and miss you Faicka!

Faicka has been looking after and baby seating Lucia for about 2 years . She is reliable, always supportive, caring for our baby, tidy, flexible and very loving.
Faicka is really good at communicating with parent and Lucia loves her to pieces. They do very educational activities in line with the British government guidance and always sends us pictures for us to know what the kids learn every day.
Thank you Faicka for looking after our daughter so well!! We hope to see around us from time time.

We could not of asked for better when it comes to Faicka and Deglys! They have become part of our family and treat our boys like their own! The care they provide is the best i have ever come across, with diverse learning activities and the love and care they give all the kids is just amazing!!

As new parent you are always hesitant leaving you child with someone but faicka made me feel comfortable and reassured me, as this was a new experience for me and for my daughter. The care and attention and making my daughter feel safe in their setting means a lot! I love the setting she has with Deglys (2 childminders such a bonus both are so amazing), the change I have seen in my daughter sending her there is so beautiful to see. She so happy every time I drop and pick her up and now be sending my second baby there in the new year when I go back to work! I am so thankful I found Faicka honestly I can not recommend her enough she goes over and beyond for these kids! You won’t be disappointed.

Faicka has looked after my daughter (now 5 yrs old) since she was 1 yrs old. From day one my daughter has been happy with her and they get on very well. Faicka is very flexible which is very handy for working parents. She is very attentive to the childrens emotional well being and her home environment is very welcoming and offers a good safe environment for young children to play and learn. I would highly recommend Faicka to anyone looking for a caring and attentive childminder.

Faicka has a beautiful heart and incredibly caring and sincere. She has always been there for me in my times of need and goes out of her way to help. My children adore her and always look forward to going. What more can a parent want. She has such a bubbly personality and certainly keeps the kids occupied.

I could not choose a better childminder for my child. My daughter spend 1,5 year with Faicka from the age of 18 months. Now she started nursery. As it was a stressful experience for me as mother to give my daughter to a childcare Faicka has made this an easy and amazing time. I could not recommend her enough! My daughter learnt so much and was very happy to go there every day. I knew my child is safe and well taken care of while I was working. Best choice I could make.
