My Summary
About Me
Hello families!
My name is Mimi & I am 33 years old from the UK but have been living in Australia for the past 6 years. I am back in the UK whilst my mother recovers from an operation. I thought I was only going to be here briefly but I’m here to stay!
I am currently working for a lovely family in Cobham, looking after G aged 2. I work for them Mon-Wed & from December the mum is going on to maternity to leave. As much as I’d love to stay with these guys, I won’t be needed for a while so I am exploring my options with what’s out there. Would ideally be looking for a mon-thurs role as I am starting an 8 week child counselling course every Friday. Happy to chat to see what they’re looking for and if it would fit for us though!
Also happy to do any evening babysitting.
I have over 10 years experience working with children from childminding settings/daycare settings & my favorite, nannying! I have been with most of my nanny families for over 2 years and have cared for more than one child at a time usually. I care for children aged from under one to 12! I mainly have nannied for children between the ages 1-5.
I am a friendly, approachable, enthusiastic people person. I have always had a passion for working with children and love watching them develop and grow into mini adults!
My last nanny role was caring for Teddy (now aged 2) back in Australia and I was with the family since Jan 22.

I couldn't recommend Mimi more highly - she is an absolutely wonderful nanny and we are devastated to be losing her. She is reliable, honest, punctual, friendly, warm and caring - our children adore her and so do I. She is very experienced, calm under pressure and a pleasure to be around. I am completely relaxed about leaving our children in her care as I know she will take the absolute best care of them. Nothing is ever too much trouble and I know I will return home to happy, well-fed children and a spotless house - I don't know how she does it! She is a star and any family who has Mimi as a part of their lives is extremely lucky.
We have had the pleasure of having Mimi be the full-time nanny to our baby girl since she was 5 months old. Beatrice is now 13 months.
My husband is british French and I am American living in Chiswick both working full-time. We have been offered relocation to the US so are very sad to be leaving Mimi.
In the early days going back to work was a tough choice for me but the minute I met Mimi I was put at ease and felt confident with our little Beatrice in her care.
Mimi is extremely warm, fun loving caring and nurturing with an abundance of experience from childminding to nannying and working in a nursery full time.
Mimi helped guide us through the weening stage - new foods, getting on a nap schedule, doctors appointments, making fresh food for Beatrice picking up her formula and food needs, bathing her, etc. I had to go to the US for a month on business and Mimi and Beatrice came with me which made the trip so much better!
What was most special and impactful I think is Mimi would get out several times a day and actively seek out new classes (Little Gym, swimming, play groups and more) or just meet friends and play dates at the park, farm or zoo.
In my mind Mimi's ideal family would be a trusting lovely family that allowed her to suggest activities and schedules that are good for both the baby / children.
We will certainly miss Mimi tremendously and the next family that has her will be VERY lucky indeed.
