Hi mums and dads,
I'm Laura and I live in Bootle with my husband and our 3 children.
I am registered with Ofsted and fully insured. I have a current DBS, paediatric first aid and safeguarding certificates.
I have a Degree in children and young people and I am also a school safeguarding governor and an active member of the PTA at my children's school.
My aim is to provide a caring, home from home environment and to ensure that every child in my care feels safe, secure and valued. I encourage children to be themselves in our house ( because wouldn't the world be boring if we were all the same).
Every child will be treated as individual, and I will provide them with a stable home environment where they can grow, learn and develop at their own pace and support them to develop socially, emotionally and physically.
In accordance with Ofsted I will be following the EYFS ( Early Years Foundation Stage) and making sure the children will be having lots of fun and wonderful experiences both at home and out and about in the community.
We are regulars of local playgroups, soft play centres, parks, Crosby beach, and sometimes venture out further afield to places such as The Ice Cream Farm and the Cinema.
My Experience
I am a very friendly and caring person and although I have highly recognised qualifications I believe my best experience is from being a mum.
Before I had my own children I was a Teaching Assistant in a local secondary school, which was incredibly challenging yet very rewarding.
Since having my children I have worked for Liverpool and Sefton children's centres providing creche services for children ranging from 3 weeks to 11 years.
My Qualifications
I have a Degree in Children and Young People and specialised within Early Years as this is my true passion. I also hold a TEFL award to teach English as a foreign language along with a level 3 teaching assistants certificate.
I have paediatric first aid training.
I have safeguarding training.
I have food hygiene training.
I have allergen training, one of my own children has allergies so I'm very clued up with allergies and food intolerances.
I have a full driving license and my own car.
My Availability
I am available to work Mon - Thurs Term Time Only.
My opening hours are from 6:30am to 4:30pm although extra hours can be discussed.
School holidays - on request.
I work weekends on request but not all the time as weekends are my quality family time I try not to interrupt.
I am able to drop off and collect children from Christ Church Primary School

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Daily Fee~which includes breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks, all drinks, wipes, sun cream, swimming nappies and all playgroup / toddler group fees.
Evening babysitting Fees on request ( minimum of 4 hours)
Weekend babysitting Fees on request
School holiday For ages 5+ which includes breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, all drinks, wipes and suncreams.

I recently decided to return to work after 2 years off. I was worried about my son being minded as any mother is. When I found Laura and went for a visit and I knew she was the one to care for my son. Her home is lovely and very welcoming she has everything the children need. Laura is very friendly and very patient. It didnt take long for my son to settle in and has come on so much in just a few months everyday he says a new word and has grown in confidence. I highly recomment Laura to anyone who is looking for a childminder.

I absolutely 110% recommend Laura! I was unsure about a childminder for my son but we have been with Laura for 8 months now and I wouldn’t look back! She’s very polite kind such an amazing childminder who has helped me when I’ve needed to work. She even gave her mother’s day up to take care of my son while I was in hospital. I don’t ever worry about my son when he is with her. Fabulous childminder and we look forward to continue our journey with her. Xxx

I am delighted with the service from Laura. She is friendly, kind, prompt and most important very professional. Laura accommodates all the things you need from babysitter (childminder). My boys liked her from day one.
I would definitely recommend Laura.

Laura is a lovely friendly and professional lady. She established an immediate rapport with our two young boys. She is always on time and has been more than flexible when we needed to change arrangements short notice. We always feel very comfortable and happy knowing that our boys are in such good care.
