About Me

I am a OFSTED registered childminder, I live in Fulwell with my husband and two children.
Fulwell Cheeky Monkeys has been inspected by OFSTED and awarded GOOD and I am fully insured.
I provide full and part time care, before and after school care from fulwell nursery, infants and junior schools also short term care in school holidays.
Here I provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere where children can interact, learn and develop with each other.
I care for children from 3 months to 12 years.
I attend local playgroups, library sessions, walks to the nearby beach and parks and I operate schedules for day to day learning around the Early Years Foundation Stage and make the learning fun and energetic.
We also venture out to Washington wetland, centre of life, Beamish, down at the farm, discovery museum and the Hancock museum on the metro and Durham for day trips on the bus. Cinema visits too in the holidays.
There is lots of fun at home including garden play - paddling pool, ball pit, water kitchen, slide and other outdoor equipment. Our garden has been re-designed and has its very own play house.
We also have our very own playroom where we do lots of arts and crafts including messy play, painting and play dough.
The children are also encouraged to help prepare foods, tasting and identifying different foods and learning how important healthy foods are for us also fun activities like making cakes!
Books are always available to the children, we have a lot of different books for all ages and interests and there is story time every day and I encourage the children with their reading as we visit the library.
I have a lot of other toys, games and learning equipment. Role play, lego & construction toys, dolls, prams, animals, jigsaws the list is endless!
I have a wide range of equipment for the younger children, high chairs, bumbo seats, travel cot/play pen, sterilizer and baby toys.

My Experience
I have completed all courses and am fully qualified, I also have two children of my own.
My Qualifications
I am OFSTED registered, OFSTED inspected GOOD, DBS checked, paediatric first aid trained and I have completed all courses including Childminder Briefing course, I.C.P course and Safe Guarding Children. I also have level 2 award in food safety and food allergy training.
My Availability
Fulwell Cheeky Monkey's is open Mon - Thur 7.30am till 6pm
Full time, part time, before and after school drop off/pick up from Fulwell nursery, Infants & Junior schools.
Also short term/flexible care for parents working shifts.

fees includes all outings admissions prices.
