About Me

Hi, my name is Louise, an Ofsted registered childminder with over 20 years childcare experience working as a Nanny both in the UK and the USA. I live in Baildon with my fiancé Nick and our daughters, Charlotte (10) and Olivia (7).

I offer a small, flexible, childcare service where each day will be tailor made around your child's individual needs, learning styles and interests. Our family home is child-friendly with a large variety of exciting age-appropriate resources such as dress up, crafts, role play area, musical instruments, baking, gardening, stories and so much more. We have a secure back garden for outdoor play and your child will be taken on regular outings in the local community including parks, playgroups, library, nature trails, farms, soft play centres and other places of interest, to stimulate your child’s mind and help develop their social skills.

During your child’s time in my care I will follow a play-based curriculum - using the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for all under 5s - to the highest standard. There will be a range of adult led and child initiated activities and a detailed learning journal will be kept. Fresh, nutritious, home cooked meals will also be provided, incorporating your child's dietary needs, likes and tastes.

It is my aim to provide a safe, warm and inviting home from home environment for your child, where they can play, learn and develop a range of skills laying the foundations for their future, while having lots of fun along the way! I will endeavour to offer your child a continuity of care as close to their home environment as possible, where they feel relaxed, settled and part of the family; a place where you know that you can safely leave your child and that your child’s well-being is paramount.
