About Me

Hello! I am 28 years old and I have had a lot of experience working with children of all ages and needs. I have always loved spending time with kids and most of my working life has been centred around caring for children. Most of the families I have worked for have gone on to become good friends and I still go back to visit them when I can!
I am currently studying International Development at UEA . I moved to Norfolk 3 years ago from being in Europe and then before that in London.

I am the kind of nanny that loves being outdoors and I love little adventures! Forrest walks, beach trips, swimming, parks, creative play as well as any child centred events that are taking place in Norwich. I often like to keep up to date with what's going on in the area for little ones and I'm always up for trying something new! I also have a few friends with their own toddlers so I would also organise play dates.

My Experience

2012-2014
After Finishing my GCSEs I volunteered at a local Special Needs School. Two months later I was offered a job there as an LSA, working full time. I loved working there!
Whilst working at the school I also started working for KIDS, which is a leading disabled children's charity. They run after school clubs and holiday play schemes. Working within these two disciplines has given me a vast knowledge of the complex needs and behaviours of children between the ages of four and twelve.
2014
I was subsequently offered a job as a nanny to two-year-old twins. I had sole responsibility for them for 11 hours a day, twice a week. I was employed for ten weeks, covering sick leave for their other nanny.
I then worked as a carer for a family with a 16-year-old young man with autism twice a week, whilst working as a nanny for a family with 3 children.
I then became a live-in nanny for some friends of mine who had two boys aged 2 and 4.
Alongside nannying, I also gave rest bite care to two families. One with a four-year-old boy with low functioning Autism and another with a 12-year-old girl with Down's syndrome who I often looked after on weekends over one or two nights.
I also supported a young boy with Down's syndrome at his cub's group.
2016/17
I moved to London and worked with four different families, including a nanny share with up to 4 children.
2018
I worked in a lovely independent cafe whilst attending an internship at my church.
2019
I became a live-in nanny for a friend who has three children and worked for her full-time.
2020
Lived and worked on a friend's farm and helped look after their kids - school drop off/pick up, homeschooling etc.
2021
I attended a school abroad and then moved in with friends in Norfolk!

My Qualifications

Passed all GCSE's, A-levels and now studying an undergraduate.
About 7 years ago I trained in Team Teach, first aid and Makaton.
Completed an access course to get into uni in psychology and sociology

Thank you!!! I love hanging with your kids too! :)

Jaz worked for us as an after school nanny for our son who has ASD and learning difficulties for just under a year. She was great with him and fitted in brilliantly into our family. She is extremely capable and kind. Would recommend.
