About Me
I am a caring, compassionate and enthusiastic person who enjoys working with children. When looking after children I try to make them feel comfortable with me by listening, playing and planning fun things to do. I have lots of experience with different ages and can adapt my style accordingly. During my studies I have worked in nurseries and primary schools to help broaden and develop my knowledge and understanding of children’s stages of development and that each child develops at their own rate rather than what is expected of them. I also have a network of nannies that I meet up with regularly, giving the children in my care a great social life. I have my own child, she was born May 2021, who will come with me. Becoming a mum has given me a new perspective when looking after children and a fulfilment to give every child I look after the same love and care I would give my own. One of the main benefits of having a nanny with their own child is that our little ones will always have a friend to play with and learn from, forming a sibling like bond.

My Experience
I have 12 years experience in childcare where I have worked in nurseries, schools and as a nanny. I graduated from the University of Greenwich where I studied Childhood studies and achieved a 2:1. Since leaving university I have worked as a childminders assistant and a nanny for 4 families. One family moved abroad so I went with them for 2 months to settle the children in as their mum had a high profile job. My job before having my daughter was a nanny share where I looked after 4 children, two 1 year old and two 4 year olds when I started, so I have plenty of experience looking after more than one child of the same age. The job I will be leaving (they are having another baby) I looked after 1 little girl from 7 months old. My daughter and the little girl were 11 months apart. I show the same care, love and attention as if they were both my own and they have both come on leaps and bounds, learning from each other and having lots of fun
