Best childminders and would highly recommend

Our twins have been attending since April 2022 and they are both very happy and love going there. It is like it’s their second home and sometimes when we arrive to drop them they they say “mummy we are home”. Before they started, we were a little bit anxious as we know that having twins can be challenging. However, since the 1st day we have always been assured of the best care for the twins. We feel very lucky to have found them. Jo and Ryan have been super amazing with the twins and they both love going there every morning. They have build a great rapport with them and they very friendly. Communication is excellent and they always keep us updated with the twins progress. When we drop them and pick them up, there is always a good handover and we are updated on how the day would have been for the twins and this includes the activities they would have engaged in on the day. There is a learning journal with the twins journey and activities that they engage in at the setting. The twins have regular homework given to them either in learning sacks or learning activities which are very interactive for the twins.

The twins are provided with so much care and attention. Our personal view is that we are fortunate to have found this setting and it’s the best in our area. The quality of care and range of activities provided for the children are really outstanding. The twins are provided with a wide range of activities and resources. They have access to stimulative activities that support their development. In addition they have regular visits to parks, farms, walks, shopping and garden centres. The twins also join in activities such as children in need/World book day, etc.

We would highly recommend Jo and Ryan to anyone looking for the care for their children. They are very approachable and always prioritise the needs of the children.

Just amazing!

I went to visit jo when my little boy was a baby and I was blown away by her setting and what she offered, due to not returning to work I didn’t need to go ahead but Jo was very understanding. When my little boy was 3 1/2 I returned to work and Jo was the Childminder I desperately wanted, I went to visit again and met her husband who also works with her and he is fantastic with the children, Jo was very accommodating with the days and times I needed.
Most importantly though my little boy adores both Jo and Ryan, he is always so excited to go and comes out very happy. The communication is great and the activities/environment that they provide is outstanding!
I could go on forever about how amazing I think they are but I think one visit with them and you would think the same.
I can’t thank them enough for the care that they have provided for my son and how reassuring it was for me to know how happy he was when I returned to work.

Simply the best!!

My son started with Jo at just under 1 years old and is now ready to start school in September. He has absolutely loved his time with Jo and has thrived in every way whilst being there. Jo always goes above and beyond to help us when needed. I always recommend Jo and will continue to do so even after my son has left. We class the family as friends now and I hope my son can still go back if there’s space during the school holidays. I know how much he’s going to miss attending. I couldn’t speak more highly of Jo and all the amazing childcare she provides 5 star in every way

Not a very good experience at all!

After being with Jo and Ryan for over a year now spending lots of money I was shocked at the treatment I received from them, I messaged jo to ask for availability which she replied, and said yes she does, i then said great can you book me in for the days, now unbeknown to me she had sent a thumbs up to the message I had sent which I didn’t see, now I thought she had just ignored the message and not replied, I didn’t see the thumbs up as there was no real reply and it’s not very professional to be booking in work with a confirmation with a emoji! So I didn’t take my son instead took the day off work as she is my only childcare, to then receive a message from her advising she can no longer look after my son, that was it nothing else, so I replied back saying can you please explain why? And she then said I messed her about and she has lost out on money which is understandable if that was the case, this was a miscommunication on her behalf and for this she then advises we can’t return! So I was like wow shocked at being accused of messing her about when really if she had replied properly not via emoji the reply may not of been missed even though it’s not really a confirmation! My son has a sensory disorder and struggles with new places and people this has now caused a lot of stress trying to find another child minder that he is even comfortable with! … I think after spending money with them and being treated like that is shocking ! AVOID, generally as people don’t get me wrong they come across nice, and have been up until now, which is a shame, I would rather spend my money elsewhere. You don’t do business like that and that is what let them down for me, I thought others should know incase they are in a similar situation to me and end up with no childminder over no fault of your own.

This young girl, unfortunately, didn't turn up for childcare she booked in, and it isn't the first time. I have only looked after her child for about 10 days in total during school holidays. We have a waiting list ✨️ with others who would love to attend our setting. Do read all the great reviews from all the parents that have previously attended and still do and recommend our childcare setting 😀

Amazing 🤩

Jo is outstanding for many reasons. She has looked after our daughter for the past year and has always been friendly and approachable. Jo cares for all the children and provides so many activities and opportunities which set the children up for solid foundations in their learning. Jo has the best toys and I feel confident in leaving my child in her care. We will miss you JoJo! I hope one day we will be back to use your childcare service again.

Fantastic childminder!

Jo has looked after both of my children in the past and currently. They have both excelled when being with Jo and grown in confidence. Jo is an excellent childminder that shows so much passion in her job, which shows through the childrens happiness. I would recommend Jo to anyone.

The best in town

Professional in every aspect. A house more equipped for children than any childminder I’ve ever known before’my daughter has so many different forms of enrichment and has come on leaps and bounds since being in Jo’s care. Incredibly clean and tidy.
my only bad point is that we wish we had found jo sooner as without a doubt she provides a fantastic service.

Simply the best!

Jo has looked after my daughter for the last year prior to starting school. The care she provides is second to none and it is easy to see why her ofsted report is outstanding. My daughter has loved being here and my son now attends. I wish I had found Jo sooner as she is amazing and the kids love her. I wouldn’t send my children to anyone else now. I highly recommend her!!

Fantastic childminder

Jo looked after my little boy until he has just started school. I love the home from home beautiful setting she has, he could not wait to go to daily and when I picked him up he was asking when he could go again. Jo is very professional and really helped him prepare for “big school”. I would highly recommend Jo as a childminder and we will miss her xx

Amazing Childminder

Jo has looked after my son for 2 and half years. She is amazing! The setting is incredible inside and out. She is registered outstanding and you will see why.
