We Wouldn’t Want Anyone Else!

I cannot recommend Emma enough! She has been such a great, lovely childminder, everything we could have asked for. Both my girls - started with Emma at 1yo and 3.5yo - 2 years ago - and they absolutely love her. My eldest only went occasionally as she was already at preschool and then primary school, but my youngest was with Emma for 2 years, before heading to preschool now. We are so sad to be leaving Emma. She’s also been super helpful when we’ve had to change our hours/add days which has been really great, as sometimes childcare can be really tough sorting, but not with Emma.

Home from home, couldn't imagine going anywhere el

Emma looked after my little boy from the age of 15 months until he started preschool at 3.5.

When I say, I could not fault Emma, I mean that. My little boy wasn't just happy at Emma's, he was thriving and looked forward to going everyday. He was a lockdown baby and spent longer at home than expected so his speech was a little bit delayed, Emma helped him everyday and I could see a difference in him week by week in his time there.

Of course, Emma meets all of the requirements of being a childminder (the bare minimum to be expected) but Emma had a huge contribution to my little boy becoming the most polite, considerate and fulfilled child.

Now being in alternative childcare due to his age, I know how spoilt I was. You will get full updates about your day and know that Emma really cares and loves what she does. I also quickly learned that the emotional support and bond isn't a given in childcare, Emma provided that without a doubt and my son actively misses her and her family.

My husband often tells me that he won't consider anywhere else for when we have another in the future (I wouldn't consider anyone else anyway!).

The perfect person for my child

I found Emma through Childcare.com, and she was the perfect person for my little boy. We had 2 great years with Emma, where she cared for him like he was one of her own. Emma was flexible with our needs and always reliable.
My boy really came out of his shell from being at Emma's.
She has a lovely setting as well as being close to Ferry Meadows for walks and adventures.
Emma always had plans of what to do with the children, and made sure it was inclusive so that everyone could enjoy and be involved.
Her family are lovely as well, kind and respectful to all the children.
I'm so thankful for Emma and we are grateful for her care and kindness over the years.

Couldn't have expected anything more.

My daughter has loved every second of being with Emma. Her speech has improved incredibly and she has generally learnt so much whilst still having fun. The cabin is an excellent playroom and fully equipped for all kinds of fun and education. I would highly recommend Emma if you want a fun, extremely clean, supportive and caring, learning environment for your child. Me and my daughter will both miss Emma taking care of her daily.

Amazing so sad to be leaving

My daughter has been with Emma since just under the age of 1 , she’s now nearly 4. I’m so gutted to be leaving Emma this is because my little girl is soon to be starting primary school. I trust Emma so much and feel so at ease whenever she’s looked after my daughter. She’s so professional and always goes above and beyond. I’ve never had to raise any issues with Emma , and my daughter always leaves happy which feel me with confidence that I’ve been found the perfect childminder. I honestly can’t thank you Emma enough and can strongly recommend her ! Her home and play area is very clean my daughter is always so well looked and after and it’s a rarity she’s ever come home with any dirt on her which is amazing in its self as we all know how it’s hard to keep children of such young age so clean all the time. Her communication is always on top form I’m always kept in the loop and always reassured if I’ve ever had any questions ect. Thank you so much Emma we will truly miss you

Emma is a wonderful childminder - highly recommend

Both my children have been in Emma's care, each for a few years and full time.
She provides a variety of stimulating play time, arts and crafts and helps with their individual social development needs too.
She puts the child's needs first and adapts to the varying naps and food requirements. My eldest was very fussy with his food and she worked with me to try and make him eat and try new things. We spoke every day to support him.
Emma communicates daily and provides clear and detailed feedback of every day with each child, with pictures and notes.

Overall, we feel very lucky to have her!

My daughter has been going to Emma for 5 days a week from the age of 8 months and we were instantly made to feel very welcome. My daughter absolutely loves going and is always pleased to see her. I personally couldn't be happier with the level of care and guidance she receives. Emma is always very proactive, happy, outgoing and full of encouragement.

Before lockdown Emma would regularly take the children out and about to mix with others at soft play areas, baby groups etc and I know my daughter enjoyed doing this. I like that no two days are the same. When we turn up in the morning her setting is always clean and she is very organised, there is always something different out for the children. My daughter runs straight in without looking back, on pick up my daughter is always full of beans and generally does not want to leave. I like that my daughter regularly brings home pictures or things they have made and just how excited she is to show me these.

I find Emma to be very approachable and knowledgeable, especially as she is a mum herself. She is also reliable and just an all round lovely person, the level of care and support she has shown to my daughter and I has been amazing.

Excellent

Emma looked after my daughter for about 3 years, my daughter always very happy and was always so excited to be going to Emma's. Emma is so polite and has a very clean and tidy environment. There was always so many different activities for my daughter to choose from every day. Emma was brilliant at communicating with myself regarding my daughter. I was very nervous to be leaving my daughter with someone when I returned to work but I had nothing to worry about with Emma as she always made myself and my daughter feel very welcome.

Amazing person!!

I would recommend Emma ross anyone looking for a perfect childminder. My son was with her for over 2 years and developed so incredibly well whilst in her care. He is such an outdoors boy and Emma made sure she did daily trips outdoors, ensuring she mixed in educational time with play time. He absolutely adores her whole family and her children were brilliant with him. The meals provided were well balanced and through a tough period of my sons picky eating habits, Emma really helped me to get him to eat difderent things. Due to my working hours I have had to place my son closer to home however I would send him back in a heartbeat if the situation changed! Couldn't recommend Emma high enough :-)

Excellent

I would recommend Emma as a child-minder with confidence. My son is now at pre-school however I never had a worry in all the time that my children were with Emma and her family. I have used Emma for both of my children. Emma provides a clean and safe environment for the children and my children were always clean, tidy and happy on collection. Emma provides various activities for the children and trips out with returning to local places that a familiar to the children like Phoenix gym. Emma has kind nature and I always felt comfortable leaving the children with her if my sometimes (clingy) children where upset in the mornings at drop off time, they were quickly comforted and she distracted them if they were ever upset. Both of my children are fond of Emma and all of her family, they are all a lovely bunch :-) Communication was always brilliant and activities were always updated in a daily dairy so I could see what there day was like.
