About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder with my daughter as my assistant, but also my husband and son are registered as emergency assistants. I have been childminding for 29 years and have found it to be the most enjoyable and rewarding career. I have been graded 'outstanding' by Ofsted 3 times in a row. I am a member of PACEY and I am able to claim down the funding for 2 and 3/4 year olds.
My Experience
My children are all grown up and I am been childminding for 29 years. I take up every opportunity to up date my training and regularly both myself and my assistant evaluate ourselves and more forward with our professional development. I have had children from four weeks old to 14 years.
My Qualifications
I have a NVQ in childcare and education level 3. I also hold a level four qualification, which is a Certification in Early Years Practice. I also have a Early Years Foundation Degree. .
My Availability
My setting is open Tuesday to Friday between 8 am to 5 pm but I am flexible. I have five weeks holiday a year which I inform parents during the year, so they can make other arrangements or book their holidays at the same time.
