About Me
We are moving to the Broadbridge Heath area later this year and I will be available for childcare.
I am currenty working in a nursery part time where I have worked for over five years. I have an almost 3 year old daughter who keeps me on my toes!
I am flexible with weekday childcare and would love to work with a caring family who wouldn't mind my daughter being with me.
I am very passionate about working with children and I love having the chance to help children develop and learn. I am known to have a bit of a crazy side and I am always up for singing and dancing! I believe I am quite outgoing and love to have a challenge to overcome. I get told I am a cheerful and bubbly person and I'm very rarely without a smile!
My Experience
My current job is nursery practitioner in the baby room in a nursery where I have worked for over fIve years. I plan activities for the children, such as messy play and season/event based activities. I carry out observations and planning based on the EYFS. I have had the chance to work with different age ranges up to 4 years. The majority of my experience has come from working in the baby and toddler units with children aged 3 months to 24 months but I spent some time with preschool after returning from maternity leave.
Before this I was a nanny for a one year old girl and regularly took her to groups and swimming. I prepared meals for her and took care of daily routines.
My Qualifications
I completed an apprenticeship at a local nursery and completed both my Level 2 and Level 3 diplomas in Children's and Young People's Workforce. I have up to date first aid training, including epi-pen training.
My Availability
I am flexible for part time childcare during the week.
