About Me
My name is Charlie, I am an honest, bubbly, down to earth person, I look after children in a loving caring home environment, children are welcomed into my home and family . I live with my partner and two adult sons, we have a pet dog, who is very child friendly.
Children benefit from lots of experiences and as such I offer a very active setting with lots of exciting resources and opportunities to learn and develop, including arts and crafts. I offer a wide, varied opportunity for children to socialize, build in confidence, by attending regular play groups, soft play sessions, visits to local parks, rhyme time at the library, visits to the beach and woodland walks. This is extended throughout the school holidays where I take full advantage of no pre-school or school runs and plan whole days out to explore and give children in my care varying experiences by going on exciting outings such as the Historic Dock Yard.
The setting operates on a free flow basis with a purposefully planned play room designed to give children free access to low level resources allowing for child initiated play and learning. Children have full access to the garden. I regularly plan an adult initiated activity for children to engage with if the wish to do so.
I cater to children's dietary requirements, ensuring their induvial needs and preferences are met.

I have been a registered childminder for over 20 years giving me a wide range of diverse skills to utilise and draw upon when caring for and educating children.

I offer flexible contracts on a full and part time basis.
I am available to for pick ups and drop offs at Harrison Primary School, and Happy Faces Preschool. (Frost hole Campus)
My working hours are Monday - Friday 0700-1800
I will have two full time spaces available in SEPT 2025

Charlie creates a home from home for the children. She not only takes them on fun outings and adventures but also focuses on the educational framework in very creative and imaginative ways. I love that Charlie knows all the passions of the children and centres activities around them. She is extremely honest, caring and flexible.
Due to Charlie's medical training, I also feel completely confident that my daughter is in good hands. Highly recommend.

Charlie has been looking after my children for almost 11 years and I can honestly say she is the most amazing childminder. She is passionate about child development and ensures the children in her care learn in diverse and most importantly, fun ways. She always goes above and beyond for the children and parents, and I have always felt that my children have been safe and well looked after whilst in Charlies care

We have been sending both of our children to Charlie for over a decade and she's been absolutely fantastic. She has looked after our son since he was 9 months and he still enjoys his time at Charlie's eight years later.
Charlie is kind, professional and very trustworthy.

Charlie is an amazing childminder who has cared for my children for many years.
She takes so much interest in the children and cares deeply about their needs, always ensuring the best for them. She places a real emphasis on ensuring they learn, make memories and socialise. She keeps them active and engaged - there's absolutely no sitting round staring at screens!
She also accommodates my youngest's dietary needs perfectly - nothing is a hassle.
I don't know what we'd do without her.

Charlie is an excellent childminder who provides care for my 2 children since 2021. She is very caring with the kids and she always go extra mille with them. My youngest one has learnt lots of skills and she is very educational as she teaches the children how to write, read, numbers etc. She is also very focus on providing the best fun for them, she spend time outside in the nature.
