About Me
I consider myself to be a very enthusiastic, hard working and caring person, always willing to take on new challenges that I may seek or encounter. I place a high importance on timekeeping and professional conduct. During my time in education I developed a keen desire to work with children in my chosen career. Outside of work I currently live with my husband and two children. My interests include horse riding and motorcycles - I own a Honda sports motorcycle.I am a mature and responsible individual keen to progress further my personal development through employment opportunities and associated training and via working with, and learning from, other childcare professionals. I have held a full, clean, UK driving license since March 2002 and have my own vehicle.
My Experience
I have been in full-time employment in the childcare profession for the last 10 years and have worked in two daycare settings and been a nanny for 4 years until January 2014 when I started maternity leave.I have worked with children between the ages of 0-15, during this time have successfully progressed from nursery nurse to assistant manager then on to be a private nanny. This time has enabled me to develop a wide range of skills, knowledge and experience in the field of professional childcare and development. I have lots of experience working with children under the age of three. My role requires me to plan and provide daily activities for the children and ensure that these are both age appropriate and stimulating for all the children. And whilst nannying I took part in school drop off and collections and then taking the younger Children to nursery or play groups, swimming etc.
My Qualifications
I am qualified to NVQ level 4 in childcare, which I completed following succesfully gaining the level 3 Diploma in Childcare and education (DCE) .
And have recently completed my childminding training.
I have a crb certificates from previous employments.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Thursday 7.30-5 pm
