About Me
Hi. I am an Ofsted Registered childminder, with a grading of good and I also have a Level 3 qualification in childcare. At my home setting I offer a fun and professional place where the children are kept happy and safe. I offer childcare for all ages catering for Early years and also care for school children from St. Mary’s school. I follow the EYFS and provide day to day resources to help the children with their growth and development.
I offer a homely setting where I live with my 11 year old daughter, Polly.
I have worked at several pre schools and nurseries within the area as well as spending several years being a children's entertainer and performing magic and producing balloon animals at parties. I have also gained experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.
During our normal day, the children are regularly taken out and as we are so lucky to live in Berkhamsted that we have many choices of excursions we go on. We also attend the local playgroups near where we live. I offer a healthy menu where I provide freshly made meals.

My Experience
9 years experience as an Ofsted registered childminder
7 years working as a children's entertainer entertaining children between the ages of 2 and 8.
2 years working as a nursery practitioner in a preschool looking after children aged between 2 and 5. I also cared for various children with special needs and learning difficulties.
Experience caring for a variety children with different aspects of special needs and ensuring their care and needs are met.
Experience managing the local Sunday school and looking after children between 3 and 11.
I have worked at berkhamsted day school as a nursery officer. I was there for 2 years working with 5 month old babies and toddlers.
I also helped with the after school club looking after children, aged 7.
I have worked as a childminder for over 8 years caring for children between the ages of 5 months and 8 years of age.
My Qualifications
Cache NVQ level 3 in childcare

Paramedic first aid certificate
Level 2 in Basic Food Hygiene Safeguarding certificate

Diploma for performing arts
