About Me

I am an inclusive childcare provider, and I am happy to welcome all children and their families to my provision. I aim to make my setting accessible to children and families from all sections of the local community through open, fair and clearly communicated procedures’. I will care for children aged from 6 weeks to 11 years of age (end of KS2)
I am registered with Ofsted and both myself and assistant hold up to date Paediatric First Aid certificates, safeguarding qualifications and regularly undertake training in statutory and voluntary courses. Full details of all qualifications’ held are available on initial consultation. I am fully insured and hold valid and up to date public liability insurance. Our cars are well maintained and covered for business use.

My aim is to provide a happy, safe and secure environment for your child to be in and for each child to be treated with respect and understanding as an individual.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, this enables me to observe, assess and plan for each child’s individual learning and development;
- I meet and exceed the legal requirements of the EYFS at all times;
- I work closely with parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential;
- I take children on regular outings and they have daily access outside;
- I plan for a wide variety of activities for each child, every day.
I have experience of dealing with children with food allergies and various medical conditions as well as behavioural issues.

Food.
All meals are home cooked and I use no added salt and organic products where possible. Children are encouraged to eat their five portions of fruit and veg a day and I encourage children to choose healthy options and to experiment by trying new foods from other cultures. Children are encouraged to help in the preparation of food and meals. The children help to develop the menus and every 6/8 weeks we discuss new menu ideas
Children with food allergies and specific dietary requirements are also catered for.
