About Me
Hello, my name is Kathleen. As a childminder and a responsible practitioner I enjoy taking children to the park, Mother and Toddler groups, soft play areas, nature trails and ballet classes. I regularly pick children up from Pre-school and Schools. As a mother myself, I offer a homely, loving environment replicating that of the child’s own.
I am confident using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and assess children accordingly, ensuring they make effective progress. I teach the children personal and social skills, setting clear routines and motivating the children taking into account their preferences, interests and individual abilities.
My Experience
I have always worked with children. Qualifing as an NNEB enabled me to work in a Nursery School until I gave up work to have my second child. I thoroughly enjoyed being at home with my children and decided to become an Ofsted registered Childminder so I could provide other children with an enriching enviroment to learn through play.
My Qualifications
I qualified as an NNEB in 1981.
I am Ofsted registered.
Ofsted: Good.
I completed my NVQ level 3 Dec 2008.
Updated First Aid.
Full UK driving licence.
