About Me
My name is Sarah, I am an ofsted registered childminder living in Lower Earley. I am married with two children, a daughter who is 23 and a son who is 21 both my children live at home . I have been a childminder for 18 years. I offer a home from home setting with each child in my care benefiting from a positive, supportive and caring environment.
I have a smoke free,pet free home.
I have a 7 seat vechicle with all age appropriate car seats.
I work hard to keep the children in my care stimulated and provide learning experiences. Examples of this include arts and crafts, library visits, toddler groups and planned days out. I also like to follow forest childcare by taking the children out to our local woods and lake as I believe fresh air and wide open spaces are good for them!
I have a good sized fully enclosed garden with a variety of childrens toys including a playhouse and sandpit.
My Experience
I am an established (18 years ) childminder based in Lower Earley. Prior to becoming a childminder I worked in a Pre-School. I have also gained considerable experience whilst bringing up my own children.
I have references available on request.
I have attended numerous courses (detailed in my qualifications).

Highly Recommended - My Daughter has been with Sarah since she was 10 months old, me and my husband felt at ease straight away with Sarah. Sarah is a bubbly, friendly, welcoming and caring person, i could not have wished for a better lady to take care of my daughter. Sarah always has a smile on her face, she is a good listener and always share lots of great advise. She takes care of the children as if they were her own, she brings the children in to her family and gives so much love and support. Sarah is a true professional and is extremely reliable. My daughter has absolutely loved being with Sarah and i can not thank Sarah enough for the time and effort she has put into looking after my daughter.

I’m not really sure where to start but this lady is nothing short of wonderful. Our son has been in Sarah’s care for over a year and what a difference a year makes! I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else with my son. He’s loved like her own and taken on some great adventures. Life’s skills are subtly introduced, like putting on his own coat, own shoes, little things that make a huge difference. Nothing is missed and i love the updates and diaries I get to read at the end of the day. If you want a childminder who gives you everything and more, who loves your child like her own, gives what my son thinks are the best Sarah cuddles around, and plays the best games, you shouldn’t look any further.

My son and daughter are cared for by Sarah on a part time basis. They quickly settled and are very happy. When my daughter asks in the morning if it's a Sarah day, she literally punches the air 'yay!'... She is,at school most of the day but loves chatting to Sarah on the school run and playing with the other children after school. Neither seem that impressed to see me at pick up sometimes as they're having so much fun.
Sarah is friendly, flexible, easy to talk to and you can instantly see she really cares about the children. I feel very fortunate to have found her. Leaving children in care is never easy at first, but literally a couple of days we were settled.

We have used Sarah as our childminder for the last year and she has been wonderful. Austin has made so much progress in all areas dues to Sarah's input and effort she makes with organising activities and outings. Austin was clearly very happy and felt safe whilst at Sarah's as he would rarely say goodbye to us and just ran into her house. He has made some lovely friends and will miss going to Sarah's very much. Sarah has also been very flexible and accommodating to our childcare needs and we cannot thank her enough.

Sarah has been looking after my eldest son for 5 years since he was 7 months old and my youngest since he was born. She is a wonderful childminder. She provides a safe, loving, fun and educational home, my boys have flourished in her care. She has become apart of our family and my children adore her. She is extremely reliable, kind and approachable. Her home is a wonderful environment for any child. Sarah Roberts is SIMPLY THE BEST!

My daughter has been in Sarah's care setting since the age of 2 and I really could not ask for better! Sarah's home is welcoming and 'safe' in that my daughter feels loved, comfortable and so happy to be there.
Sarah is very professional and the safety of the children is her utmost priority, as well as ensuring the children have fun.
Sarah encourages my daughters free spirited personality and embraces diversity. Sarah's children are both wonderful with the children.
My daughter adores Sarah and her family and even gets grumpy when me when it's home time!!
