The staff at Cherished Childcare have provided a wonderful learning environment for my son. As a parent, we receive updates via our phones and through a home school communication book. Our son has learnt new skills and comes home with tales of all of the fun he has had throughout the day. The facilities are very similar to what you would find at a nursery, there is never a dull day. The children are given opportunities to learn about the world around them through sensory play, arts and crafts, cooking, dress up and more. There is a lovely outdoor area with apparatus to help the little ones with their gross motor skills. Everyone is friendly and welcoming,

Pat and her family have been amazing with our son. I was so worried having to leave him and go back to work, but they made the transition so easy. I cannot praise Pat and her team enough. I know when I leave my son with them, I don’t have to worry, he in in good hands.
Our son really enjoys going here. I would recommend this to anyone looking for safe and friendly environment for their children. Always easy to communicate with the staff and they are always ready to help. Very pleased with the work they do so far.

Nanny Pat and the team looked after my little boy, Lloyd, for 2 years. They took wonderful care of him and he absolutely loved going every day. He learnt so much and the activities offered are amazing. The kids love the garden and the cabin and they all have great manners and play together and share. They are a credit to Pat. I have always received great advice and communication and you can always rely on them to be flexible and understanding. If you are looking for a loving, homely environment for your little one, you will not find any better. We only left as we were moving away from the area, I wish we could have moved everyone with us!

Finding a responsible and committed child minder for my son was very daunting but once a I met Pat and her team and disussed my needs.I realise instantly that my son has found a second home. Pat is not only a "mother" to the children but the parents as well.
I would highly recommend her team to any parent because of the genuine love, care and support exhibited by them towards my son.

Excellent care of my 7 month old, Nanny Pat and family make sure he is well looked after and entertained, he is always smiling when he is here and doesn't mind at all when I go off to work. Really good communication about how he is and what he's doing through the day. They are very experienced and give lots of good advice. They are also very flexible about hours and holidays. So glad I found them!

Kids are very happy and took no time at all to settle in, would recommend to working familys , very supportive after school child minding service.

Pat and the team have been fantastic! As a first time mum returning to work I was apprehensive about leaving my daughter with someone else, and I can assure you I looked at many possibilities. However, once I found Cherished Childminding Services I knew I need not look any further! They have a brilliant child friendly, safe, homely environment that also feels like a nursery. There are plenty of activities for the children and Pop's Cabin is a massive source of entertainment on its own! The children still follow the same learning prgramme as a nursery which is important as you never want your child to miss out. For me though, I love the fact that all the children take part in each activity, no matter their age. It is a fabulous way for the little ones learning to share and wait their turn and for the older ones to realise not evrrything can go your way! I love that it is more of a close knit family feel. My daughter is always happy to go to Pat and the team and has come on leaps and bounds. All the children are very sweet and very well behaved. I also have to thank them for making the whole process of leaving my baby that bit easier! They send me photos of what she has been up to and she also has a daily diary (as does every child) so I know what she has been doing and learning. I would honestly recommend them to anyone looking for childcare as they have been brilliant and my daughter mostly definately enjoys her time there. As I said the best decision I could have made!!!

I think I have found the best place for my son. I cannot say with words how thankful I am for Pat and the Team for taking such a great care of him.
They are very friendly, helpful but on the other side they are strict on the right level, keeping the little ones disciplined. The varied tasks and activities they do day by day is amazing. My son met snails, chameleons, horses, owls, magicians, Santa, bunnies and lots more in the last 7 months since he is on this fantastic place.
Pat is keeping me well informed about what they do, how my son was participating, how he is improving or where should we improve. They are sending me pictures about the daily activities to make sure I know what is happening with him. I can see that she knows him, spending quality time with him every day. I am appreciating her wise advises.
I can only say the best about Cherished and thank them every day from all my heart. You are the Best.

I had always been apprehensive with the idea of using a childminder as previously I had only ever been familiar with a nursery environment. Having not been able to find the balance between local and a very good nursery I decided to explore the option of a childminder a bit more. From the moment I met Pat, Jayne & Vicky my mind was put at ease. I noticed that even at the settling session, Jack seem to really warm to them and the environment much better than he ever had done before; mind was made up there and then. Jack has been attending Cherished for a few months now and it couldn't be going better. He always talks about Pat and often asks if we can visit during weekend!
I am really pleased with the variety of creative activity throughout the day, and I have noticed how well Jack has come on because of this. I also like the firm but fair and friendly approach and that manners are always encouraged.
All in all very happy parent!

Our daughter has been with Pat, Victoria and Jayne since May last year and she has gone from a little girl who still hadn't learnt to walk fully yet, mix with over children, etc to doing all those things and more !!!
I was dreading going back to work but when we saw the change in her in just one week we were shocked !!!
She is now running around, you can have a conversation with her, dressing herself, making new friends, counting to 15 and so much more. Not only this but i have never heard of anywhere else who takes the children out for the day, hires entertainers, etc to come for the day, baking cakes and my fave has been many cards and pcitures which i shall treasure !!!
You also get pictures sent during the day of the fun they are having, as a full time working mum that certainly makes my day !!!
I cannot thank you all enough !!! xxx
