Val is the best nanny we've had by far!

Val is seriously a godsend. I had to go back to work 3 months after having our beautiful son as I work for a startup. My husband had a full-time job as well so we were in need of good help. We had initially hired a day nanny from an agency who we found out was lying about our newborn's whereabouts and we had to let her go and find a new nanny at last minute's notice. Needless to say, I was incredibly stressed trying to find a good nanny we could actually trust and who'd be loving and kind yet responsible and disciplined with our son. I interviewed a lot of nannies, and had a couple of night nannies from agencies prior to the day nanny mentioned above, and Val is the best one by a long mile. Still, I was worried because I've never used childcare.co.uk before and you just never know! But Val put all my worries at ease.

From day one, she was so genuinely loving and kind to our 3 month old. She is passionate about newborns and has done research on how much milk and sleep he needs, how to get him to nap enough throughout the day and to make sure he's getting the tummy time and outdoor exposure he needs to learn and grow. She sings to him and is constantly "on" with him. He absolutely adores her, and gives her a wide toothless grin whenever she arrives in the mornings. She also is consistently punctual, reliable and always take the initiative to get things done around the house, even without explicit instructions. She'd fold clothes, do laundry, do the dishes and keep herself busy whenever our son is napping. She even reads about newborns when she's resting - truly someone who loves her job. Our son is six months old now and has really thrived under val's care.

The job was only meant for three months long as my mother would be able to care for our son after that, and then we'd be moving to NY in a couple of months. However, because we love Val so much, we are offering her to still do part-time work after the three months is up until she finds another job (but before we move to NY). We are so sad to lose her and wish she'd come to NY with us. Any family would be so lucky to have her and we hope that we can find someone as great as her after our move.

Amazing Nanny!!

Val is an absolute god send!! Though she was only with us for a short time my son was absolutely taken with her. She is very thorough and will ensure your child gets the best care and attention from reading, singing, cooking and nap time she's a real life Mary Poppins. I hope to use her again !! Thoroughly recommend Val

Excellent nanny.

We are very sorry indeed to be losing Val. She has worked as our nanny for fifteen months and she has been completely reliable throughout: a rock for our family.
We have no hesitation in recommending Val to look after your children; our little boy adores her. Val is a hard worker, always punctual, efficient, cheerful and easy to work with. She is leaving us to work with newborns and we wish her all the very best.
