My Requirements

We are seeking a part-time nanny with a driver's licence for 15 - 20 hours per week starting January 2024.

We are a friendly, easy-going household looking for a fun after-school nanny. We value good organisation and reliability and want someone engaging, bubbly, and positive. Our 7-year-old is an animal-fact and football-crazy; his art and board-game-loving brother is 10. We are looking for a fluent English speaker to do homework with the kids.

Role description

• After-school nanny for boys aged 7 and 10
• Monday - Friday (or could do Mon - Thu if needed), from 4 pm - 6:30 pm and ideally staying late until 10 pm two nights per week - negotiable (we are happy to discuss the exact hours)
• Extra hours available during school holidays (optional)
• Must have a driver’s license (manual car)

Nanny Tasks

• Preparing healthy meals /snacks & cleaning up after dinner
• School pick-up (3 min walk from home)
• The nanny needs to be on top of all communication from the school (clothes, activities, bake sales, homework, etc.)
• School projects
• Driving them to local clubs,
• Arranging and taking them to appointments and playdates (e.g., dentist & haircuts)
• Supervising bath and bedtime routine when needed

House Tasks

• Stacking and emptying the dishwasher
• Washing, hanging, folding, and putting away the kids’ clothes
• Packing away grocery deliveries

We don't have any pets.

To be considered for this role, you must:

- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Have (or get) an up-to-date DBS check
- Have 2 contactable references
- Have a passport
