About Me
I am a fun loving very caring person, I enjoy the outdoors and love cooking, reading and tennis. I am a qualified teacher in primary and FE education and teach a range of subjects. I speak two languages one of them being Italian. I enjoy traveling and visiting different places. I run arts and crafts workshops weekly where children and adults make lots of wonderful things. I am able to teach 1-1 and groups in Buckinghamshire as well as London area.
My Experience
23 years teaching experience in Private and state schools; English/Maths/Esol. Prepare students for their 11 plus. Experience with KS1 &KS2; KS3. Currently Writing Educational resources, Exam marker, and teacher as well as Coordinator for KS2 English; have run reading scheme, breakfast club for Pupil Premium, Lesson observations always good/outstanding; Mentor to NQT and Teach First trainee;. I specialize in English language/literature GCSE and Primary English & Maths. I also specialize in teaching Esol English Language. The past 10 years, I have worked with one to one students in different environment/schools/homes, helping learners overcome their barriers within learning. I have worked with children aging from 5 years to 18 up to GCSE 15 years tutoring students on a 1-1 basis. Ofsted commended me for behaviour management and more able; led various staff INSETs (reading recovery, SEN, working with families etc.); Use data effectively for own class (good progress measures); An outstanding portfolio in Arts and Crafts. Run my own workshops for Art therapy for Children/Adults with learning difficulties. I’m Committed, enthusiastic and energetic; Reflective practitioner with ability to lead teams successfully. Have led Faculty successfully through syllabus changes at GCSE in English and Maths 2017 GCSE results show significant pupil progress; I also have 16 years experience teaching Adults English language.
