About Me
I am currently working as a private tutor from our home address in Bovingdon. I have experience in nursery and primary mainstream schools in Hertfordshire and underwent training at an Outstanding Ofsted graded teaching school. I have an up to date DBS certificate that I am happy to produce upon request.
My Experience
I have been a primary school teacher in Hertfordshire for many years (prior to that I was a family law solicitor). I am looking to provide extra tutoring to children between the ages of 3 and 11. I will support children who are currently struggling with their early reading, writing and maths skills and provide extra tutoring for children in preparation for their SATS and 11+. I teach up to year 6 in Maths and year 4 in English. I have experience in working with children with learning difficulties. Up to date references available.
My Qualifications
I achieved Qualified Teaching Status after attending the Graduate Teacher’s Programme course at University of Hertfordshire .
I also have a BA Law Degree (2:1) and the Solicitor’s Final Examination.
My Availability
Please discuss as it changes throughout the year. In school holidays I am available also.
