About Me
Working parents with 11- and 10-year old looking for reliable permanent part-time housekeeping and childcare help in late afternoons.
My Requirements
1-3 days a week, 3-6pm.
Salary: £15ph
Duties
- housekeeping and cleaning duties; laundry once a week; ironing only uniforms
- NOT a pure afterschool nanny role: more household help than childcare, but not expecting a deep clean either
- receive groceries, prepare simple, healthy/balanced meals and clean up kitchen area after
- very welcome to eat with kids
- supervise kids so they do schoolwork before play. Engage them to help with chores.
- sometimes walk younger child back, receive groceries, etc
- one parent may work from home
- own car helpful but not necessary
Requirements
- Kind, organised and responsible, a good role model for older children, able to connect with this age group
- Reliable and punctual
- Safe, confident driver with clean license and own car preferred
- Firm and positive discipline, understand mentality of this age group
- Ideally locally-based
- References required
