Hi my name is Charlie and I live in Cuerden Green, off Stanifield Lane (between Lostock Hall, Farington and Bamber Bridge)

I provide a caring, happy, homely, safe, fun and stimulating environment for children to play, laugh and learn. I am Ofsted registered, have 10 years childminding experience, qualified to level 6 (Early Years Professional Status)

I provide funded places from 9 months.

i have experience with children with SEND.
I use visuals, targeted support plans and personalised curriculums to provide targeted support. I have experience in applying for EHCPs and liaising with professionals.
I have an EYSENCO qualification

I love working with children and watching them grow, develop and enjoy their experiences. I pride myself on providing a safe, comfy, fun and challenging environment and a range of activities that ensure that children feel settled, happy in my care and excited to learn.

We spend a lot of time outdoors and I focus on ensuring children are immersed in nature, develop curiosity about the world around us and are excited and motivated to play, explore and learn. Children experience daily outdoor experiences including nature walks, a large garden, and exploration in various outdoor environments to climb, splash, create, dig, make marks, discover, run, collect, and wonder in their own unique ways.

I tailor all experiences to the individual child My dedicated playroom provides choice and independent access to a range of resources for role play, reading, resting, small world, construction, mark making, treasure basket play, dancing, den making, arts and crafts, science experiments, sensory play, cooking and baking, cuddles, rest, reading and a range of planned activities.

Babies enjoy a multi sensory area to explore, a range of toys and a homely, caring environment.

I pride myself on providing a range of open ended, natural and novel resources which inspire children’s curiosity, creativity and imagination as they are used in different ways each day.


I enjoy being outdoors and my garden has been designed to create a stimulating and challenging place for children to play, plant, balance, explore, dig, transport, pretend, slide, splash, run and ride. It features an outdoor kitchen, sand and water play, a digging area, a planting area, construction resources and a range of ride on toys as well as a comfy, sensory area for babies, space to run, and cosy dens to read, hide, play with friends and rest.

I provide a range of healthy, home cooked food and involve children in preparing, cooking and serving their own food. We chop and peel fresh vegetables for soup, crack and scramble eggs and chop and mash potatoes. We learn about healthy eating and where our food comes from as well as practicing our physical skills.

We go out and about to play groups, farms, duck ponds, woodland area, rivers, parks, playgrounds, soft play and the local library.

We learn from real life, multi-sensory experiences and have lots of fun!
