About Me
My name is Leila Clark, I've been a childminder since 2010 when my youngest was small. We usually spend our mornings with another childminder allowing the children to make friends in a larger group either in the home environment or out and about at toddler groups, enjoying the local nature spots, we also enjoy visits to farms, museums and various other attractions depending on the children's interests and topics that we may be covering, taking our learning beyond the setting and into the real world.
I achieved GOOD in my last Ofsted inspection (2019).
I'm married with 3 children with one at secondary school and the others in further/ higher education. The other members of our family are the family cat Simba and our cocker Spaniel Wicket.
My setting is based on the ground floor of our 3 storey house, where we have a downstairs toilet, and an open plan kitchen and living space leading into the conservatory. We are close to local nature reserves and several good parks, which gives us lots of opportunities to get out and about.
I've been a Guide Leader since I was 1998, working with the girls and taking them away on camps and holidays.
My Experience
My original experience came from being a mum to three, however I've been actively minding now since 2010 and still thoroughly enjoy myself. I am learning all time, as every child is an individual and I enjoy taking their learning journey with them.
I have been working within the Guide movement since I was 1998, working with young girls to develop a sense of self and independence, but having lots of fun along the way.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Full day £45 a day 8-5. this includes snacks, routine outings and groups
I am registered to take childcare vouchers, tax free childcare payments and am able to claim 2, 3 and 4 Year old nursery funding

My son has been going to Lemurs Little Ones for 7 months and he couldn't be happier. She treats him like she treats her own children and knows him very well. I couldn't ask for a better childminder for my son and just wish she worked Fridays ? (but of course I understand your workload). She takes the children out for a variety of activities nearly every day and makes sure all the children are happy, safe and making new memories whilst learning many new things. Thank you so much ?

My son has been going to Leila's Lemers for the last 6 months, and has settled in instantly with Leila and her family. Leila is professional and always updates me with a detailed diary with plenty of photos from the activities of the day. Leaving my son with Leila makes going back to easier as I have full trust in her. I would highly recommend her.
