About Me
Just to say I am no longer 52?, Now 55, and I have just had my Ofsted inspection - Outstanding in all areas ??. Hello, I am a 52 year old lady - who since turning 50 has re assessed her life and moved to the wonderful town of Deal. I am a qualified NNEB Nursery Nurse with at least 26 years experience working in the Childcare Industry, School Nursery, Day Nursery, and most recently a Senior Portage Home Visitor for Children with additional needs. I have recently qualified as an Ofsted Registered Childminder and I am particularly looking for younger children (3 months upwards) to care for in my own home - particularly as my own children have grown up and I am suffering from 'empty nest syndrome'! Please feel free to contact me for an informal chat about your childcare needs and concerns.
I understand it is a worrying time for parents leaving their children when returning to work and hopefully I can support you with this. Although I have zillion years experience..... I am always still learning.
My Experience
Qualified as a NNEB Nursery Nurse back in 1985!!! I have worked in Day Nurseries in London, Nursery schools in Medway and more recently became a Senior Portage Homevisitor orignially for Swale, Witstable and Canterbury, later to move to Maidstone. Apart from that I have also brought up my own 3 chilldren and I am proud to say I did a wonderful job.
My Qualifications
N.N.E.B. First Aid, Portage, Makaton, Specialist Teaching Experience and many others.
My Availability
I am now registered - flexible as no dependents apart from 2 cats !!!! I am now officially outstanding !!

My daughter has just started school after being looked after by this amazing lady for the last 4 years after I went back to work. I was looking for someone to leave my baby with and I can not express how delighted I was to find someone as wonderful as I did. Not only did my daughter want to go to Caroline’s every day she didn’t want to leave! She is always at the top of her friends list for birthday invites and is lovingly known as ‘my caroline’. My baby had so much fun, got messy and learnt a how to be an independent, caring young lady. With always something new to discover her days were always fun and that is just what I was looking for. Caroline will always be seen as part of our family and as I put it my daughters forever childminder ❤️
