Forever grateful for Helen

My son absolutely loved his time at Helen’s and we are so grateful we found her. The peace of mind we had knowing our little one is in the best care money can’t buy. Helen provides a safe environment for children to explore and she encourages them to follow their interests while guiding them in learning more. Our little one’s language skills dramatically improved after joining Helen. Another area I greatly appreciated Helen’s input was in teaching him emotional regulation and dealing with difficult situations. She has so much love and work with such kindness yet firmly disciplines in a beautiful way. I highly recommend Helen, you’ll be lucky to have her as your childminder.

Fantastic Childminder

Helen has been amazing and we are so lucky to have found her. Helen has looked after my son from 14 months to 3 years of age.

Helen has created a fun and safe environment with lots of learning, playing, reading, signing and a space for children to share their interests with each other and make friends from a young age.

Helen communicates every day with what the children have been up to with photos so I can see him playing and having fun with his friends.

Helen always puts so much effort into making sure the children are eating healthy home made foods they enjoy as well as offering and introducing new things.

We have so much appreciation for everything Helen has done for us and cannot thank her enough!

Amazing experience

Our daughter loved her time at Helen’s place. Our little one went to Helen for 18 months, we can not be more happy with what she did for her. The communication was outstanding and her place is child safe. We can not recommend more Helen, she is always with a smile on her face. We are impressed with all the things our daughter knows. Thank you Helen for everything.

Mother Theresa of Childminders

"We have had the privilege of having Helen as a childminder for two of our children. She was exceptional in her caregiving, providing love, nurturing, and engaging activities, and also kept our children stimulated with trips and joyful experiences like puddle jumping. Helen used pictures to communicate with us and give us a glimpse into their fun-filled days. We will always be grateful for how Helen supported us during a difficult time when our three-year-old was diagnosed with stage 4 childhood leukemia, taking on the caregiving responsibilities and being understanding and compassionate. Throughout her time with our children, she always put their safety first and created a nurturing and stimulating environment that exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend her."

Fantastic childminder

Helen looked after our daughter Rachel for about a year and a half and we feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful childminder. She provides an incredibly nurturing, stimulating environment and goes above and beyond to make sure the children have a fantastic time!

Rachel was born just before the pandemic began and so had limited opportunities to socialise with other children or adults in her first year of life. At 11 months old, she was typically quite anxious and withdrawn around anyone except us, so we weren’t sure how she would adjust to starting childcare. However, Helen helped her (and us!) to feel at ease immediately. She let Rachel set the pace and decide what she was comfortable with. From then on she just kept growing in confidence and absolutely loved her time with Helen.

Helen provides a range of lovely activities every day, including lots of time spent exploring outdoors in local parks/woodland. She knows each child very well and has a real skill for identifying what will interest them and help them develop further. She often went out of her way to find toys/books and plan activities specifically tailored to Rachel's interests.

We also loved the way Helen helped Rachel with her social and emotional development. She always models and facilitates kind and respectful behaviour and encourages the children to discuss their feelings. She also regularly meets up with other children and childminders, which provided additional opportunities for Rachel to socialise with a larger group.

Helen’s communication with us has always been fantastic and we loved receiving daily photos and updates via WhatsApp, as well as daily summaries in her journal. She let us know about Rachel’s small achievements each day and always seemed just as excited about and invested in Rachel’s development as us! She also communicated very effectively with us when managing any changes or difficulties, working closely with us to provide consistency with things like sleep routines.

We could not be happier with the care our daughter received and cannot thank Helen enough for the positive impact she has had on our whole family.
