My Summary
About Me
Hello! I love working with children and their families, and have over 13 years of nannying experience (age range of children from 2 days old - 12 years old), and prior to this had 6 years experience working with children from 3 months to 11 years in settings including nurseries, schools, pre schools and after school clubs. I have worked my way up over time starting as a nursery nurse and then becoming a pre school leader, a baby room leader, a deputy manager of a nursery, and a manager of an out of school club, then found my passion was nannying. I am very creative, especially enjoying 'messy' activities, and am a very hands on, getting fully involved nanny. I have an enhanced DBS check on the update service (formerly known as CRB), and am a qualified Paediatric first aider.
I would describe myself as happy, friendly, reliable and trustworthy. In my spare time I enjoy shopping, fashion, dancing, music, keeping fit, going to the cinema and eating out. I get on really easily with people and love being around children, and am passionate about their care.
I have a full driving license, and do own a car.
My Experience
I have always known I wanted to work with children. I have been a manager of an out of school club (ages 2-11), deputy manager/room leader of a pre school (ages 2-4), baby room leader (ages 3 months+) and pre school room leader (ages 3-4). Previous to this I was a school teaching assistant in reception and year 1, working 1:1 with children with special educational needs. I also have done a lot of babysitting, looking after up to 4 children at any one time, between the ages of 6 months and 14 years.
