About Me
My name is Jo and I co-mind with my close friend Leigh. We carry a NVQ 2 and a Cache Diploma level 3 in childcare between us and are both Ofsted registered. We offer a wide range of activities and outings to meet the different stages of your child’s development and I’m very lucky to have Mitcham common on my door step where we encourage children to be physically active and explore their surroundings. Myself and leigh are very loving mothers who are very happy positive people. The best part of our job is encouraging and watching children grow and develop into wonderful young people. I also have a cat named Lily and a beautiful dog named Bear he is a Cocker Spaniel and is amazing with the children, a very happy but gentle friend.

Between us we hold 15+ Years experiences in childcare, nursery, nanny and primary school.
My Qualifications
I hold an NVQ level 2 and am ofsted registered as a childminder. Leigh holds a Cache Diploma level 3 in childcare and education and is also a registered childminder with ofsted.
To be registered with ofsted we are required to hold valid DBS, paediatric first aid, childminding training course and food hygiene certificates.
My Availability
Monday to Friday 7.45 / 18.00 can be flexible with time.
Sessions morning and afternoon.
School pickups from St Thomas of Canterbury and St Mark's Primary School, Mitcham and the Sherwood school.

Jo and Leigh have looked after my little boy (now 2yr, 3mnth) since he was six months. I made the best decision! My son absolutely loves going to them, they have daily activities and trips, they make so much effort. Everyone says how advanced my son is for his age and I really think it's down to the care he has received. It feels just like home! I really can't recommend Jo and Leigh enough! They both have children themselves plus have both worked in nurseries previously. Highly recommend.
