About Me
Hi there, I'm Tanya, a mother of three (aged 17,13 and 11) from Beckenham and my provision was recently judged Good by Ofsted (2017).
I live in a quiet cul-de-sac, very close to Elmers End station and to Marian Vian primary school, in a house with a private garden, with my partner and our children. My partner is a Deputy Headteacher in a school and prior to becoming a childminder I worked in accountancy.
My Experience
I have been childminding since 2013 and have looked after babies (under 1), infants (2 to 3) and school age children (5-10 years old). As well as this I am a mother and have experience of bringing up children up to age 11.
I have provided childcare for a variety of children, with different levels of ability and varying needs and all children in my provision have made very good progress.
References are available on request, as are the results of parental satisfaction feedback questionnaires I carry out.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in Business (2:2), I have completed a Local Authority approved training course in childminding and I have a paediatric first aid certificate.
My Availability
My working hours are 7:30 am to 6:00pm, but I can be flexible and accommodate earlier or later if necessary.
I currently have availability, including full time, in all age groups. I do pick up and drop off from Marian Vian Primary School every day.

Tanya looked after my son Daniel when i returned to work in January 2014 until September 2014 where I went on Maternity leave again. Since then she has looked after him on flexible days where she has been able to.
Tanya offered my son a home from home environment. He flourished well in her care and his language progressed an unbelievable amount.
Tanya is professional, honest, caring and she has the patience that I definitely do not!
Tanya is also flexible with days and hours which was invaluable to me.
I always felt that she treated my son as her own and would highly recommend her care for any child.
I now have a 10 month old called Owen and am soon returning to work, however, i need to be nearer home as Daniel will be attending nursery in our area, otherwise i would have both my children with her without a second thought!

Tanya has been minding my child for two years and I am very happy with the service she provides. There are always a wide range of activities to do and she has engaged my child in lots of new things. The levels of communication are always excellent and I particularly appreciate her flexibility and approachability. I would recommend tanya to anyone looking for childcare. My overall rating of Tanya services is 5

Tanya looked after my daughter for 2 years on an after school basis, I only stopped using her because of moving out of the area. My daughter was always happy and well looked after, and Tanya was always willing to go the extra mile. It was obvious she truly cared for the children she looked after.
Tanya always made sure the children filled their time productively, either by helping them with their homework or encouraging crafts, drawing. The children were never bored! The important thing for me though was just that my daughter was happy and enjoyed her time there. And I knew she was safe and secure.
I'd recommend Tanya to anyone, she's brilliant. A natural.
