About Me
Hi my name is Emma, I worked as a sales representitive before becoming a mum to my little girl, I decided that I wanted to take time out to enjoy being a mum. In this time i have looked into becoming a childminder and think it is the right path for me.
I am caring, lively and outgoing just like my daughters. I have always enjoyed looking after children from a young age.
I have been childminding for 11 years and I'm really enjoy doing it.
I have a wide range of toys. And an outdoor area for the children to play in. I also attend a toddler group on Thursday morning. We also do lots of outings to various place such as the beach,parks, zoo, farms whether we go in the car, on the bus or train.
We also do lots of creative activities with glue, baking or painting.
My Experience
When i left school i was in between jobs I did voluntary work at a primary school working with children aged 4 and 5.
Since I was about 14 i have looked after children whether it was my younger brother or babysitting my little cousins. I also take my partners cousins child out and feel we have bonded very well and enjoy spending time together.
I have had lots of experiences whilst being a mum from caring for a new born to a walking, chatting little toddler.
In the year that I have been childminding I have taken care of children of different ages between birth and 10 years old and from different ethnic backgrounds.
On my Last Ofsted inspection I was graded Good.
My Qualifications
I have a paediatric first aid certificate. And also completed the training course ' Introduction to home based childcare'. mark making matters course and child protection level 1.
I also have my children and young person workforce level 3 qualification.
My Availability
I am looking to work all year round and I am availible to do school and pre school pick up and drop offs. I am very flexible with hours as i understand lots of parents have to work different hours and shifts.
Tuesday - Friday 8:00 am til 6:00pm (can be flexible within and around these hours)

I have been using Emma as a childminder since June. We are now moving and unfortunately my boy has to leave Emma's care. She has been wonderful, very professional but still keeping the personal one to one aspect going. My boy adores Emma and he doesn't want to go home when I collect him. I am sure he will miss her very much - wish we could take her with us. She is a lovely person and I would recommend her to anyone wanting a childminder. We'll miss you Em !!!
