*Full no spaces at the moment* Ofsted rated Good* Hello Welcome to Moonbeams Childcare. My name is Claire and I work along side my Husband Dale running our childminding business which we have been doing for over Ten years now and love every minute.
We have two beautiful children of our own, Kayla who is 16 and Oliver who is 13, we also have a 3 year old little malshi called chewbacca who all the children love.We both love raising our children and spending time with them, this is why we became Child minders and love doing something we both enjoy so much.
A lot of the children we care for have been with us for quite some time and really are part of our family and friends to our children.
We know how precious children are and we aim to give the best possible care, help and guidance whilst they are with us.
We have a lovely bright playroom with a host of various toys, games, books and messy play items for all ages. We also use the living room for play, computers, some play and quiet time.
Our garden is designed for the children, it is safe and secure. We have a huge selection of outdoor toys and games and picnic area.
We like to go on outings, walks and visits to local parks, We have a lot of planned activities to involve all ages and always have great fun from theme days, arts and crafts, gardening, game days and many many more, all the children in my care have a great time and are always excited to have new friends to play with.
We provide updates with details of what the children have been doing that day and add pictures so you have something to share with your child and keep you involved.
My Experience
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for over thirteen years and have gained a lot of experience and understanding with children of all ages from newborn to 13.Having two children of my own has given me the best experience to provide a fun safe and loving environment for your child to learn grow and have lots of fun.

Both Dale and I are First aid trained and both have full enhanced CRB checks.

Claire and Dale are really lovely people. We moved to Lincoln about 1,5 month ago and were lucky to find Claire's home. Unfortunately, Claire was too far away from us and for that reason, we had to switch to a new place.
Claire's setting is very clean, tidy and organised well.
Claire and Dale are really focused on developing kids' speech and every single child in her setting is a chatterbox. Claire and Dale provide lots of activities that are focused on fine motor skills, hence, children speak very well. At Claire's house, everyone loves reading books and children are best friends.
It is very easy to speak to Claire about any concerns' and she will always do her best to accommodate it. She was patient with Sofia's fussy eating and tried her best to feed a very fussy kid.
If you are worried that you child is not speaking, take them to Claire's house and in a month, you will see an amazing progress!
I did not comment on food as we brought our own food and it worked well for us.
Claire is also very flexible and tries to accomodate your needs as much as she can. Unfortunately, we had to leave as it was way out of our way, but we settled in Lincoln's Minster Nursery where our speech was praised. Thank you, Claire and Dale :) We will miss you!

My very shy little boy, now nearly three, has been with Claire and Dale since he was 16 months old. He had struggled to settle with a previous childminder and I was really nervous about trying again. After the first trial session at Moonbeams I knew he would be fine there, he was playing happily when I called to check on him 10 minutes in.
Claire and Dale offer a safe and comfortable setting. The children in their care are made to feel like family. They are always on hand with cuddles and reassurance when it is needed but also encourage the children to think for themselves, and develop their own personalilties.
My little boy is always coming home with something lovely that he has made and lots of stories of things that he has done during the day and his diary keeps me up to date with everything he is doing.
I would definitely recommend Moonbeams, My little boy is much more confident than before, it has made going back to work so much easier to know that he is happy and being well looked after.

I cannot recommend Claire and Dale highly enough - they both are very professional, caring childminders who have been looking after my little boy since the age of eight months. Now aged 20 months, I am confident he is happy, sociable and outgoing due to the loving family environment at Moonbeams Childcare.
As mentioned in the previous review, Claire and Dale allow time for your child to settle in with settling-in visits. I found leaving my baby to go to work the hardest thing I ever had to do; Claire and Dale put me at ease by texting and keeping a very informative daily diary, complete with colour photos, to show what he had been up to.
The activities on offer are fantastic - such a wide range of opportunities for your child to learn and explore. As a primary school teacher, I am more than aware that some childminders simply carry on with their daily lives when looking after children and this certainly is not the case with Claire and Dale. Your child is their number one priority, with a vast array of activities planned in all of the different areas of learning. I know that my child particularly enjoys going to the Childminding Group at the local children's centre, where he can enjoy both indoor and outdoor facilities with other children his age. I also have a wonderful box full of many things he has made, including Christmas decorations, cards from different occasions, hand prints, calendars, paintings....

Claire and Dale looked after my little boy from the age of 7months untill he was 18months and we relocated from the area.
I looked at many childminders untill I found Moonbeams and so glad I choose them, They put me straight at ease with settle in visits and text updates to let me know how he was settling in.
They also provided a daily dairy containg everything from feeds to what he had been doing and included little pictures as a keepsake which made my husband and I really feel apart of his day.
As he grew he used to get so excited when we pulled up in the morning, Claire and Dale also took him out on lots of litte trips from parks,farms, childminding group, local walks and many more.
He also learnt so much from them and they had alot to do with his great development.
They have a lovley home which is child friendly with lots of toys, books, arts & crafts and games which kept my little boy busy all day exploring.
Most of all I would like to Thank you both it was great to know I was leaving my little boy with a warm loving family knowing he was well looked after and having lots of fun really gave me peace of mind. We will really miss you only wish we could pack you in our suitcases and take you with us.
