Hello i am a OFSTED registered childminder, been a childminder for 23 years.
Place available JUNE 2025.
I was Graded GOOD In my last inspection MAY 2024 .
Now Booking for September 2025.
I have always had a passion caring and working with children and am a fully qualified registered childminder. I offer a warm and loving home environment with a safe garden to suit your child's needs. I also have two children who have always accepted and participated in my work throughout their childhood.
I am CRB checked and first Aid.

My Experience
Over the past few years I have had experience working with children with various needs and have an Ofsted rating of "Good". I have looked after over 40 children over a 23 year span in my career.
Sorry I don't do school runs any more.

Andrea has welcomed in my little boy into her care, he loves his educational days with her. Comes home with gorgeous art work, gifts and is always happy.
Andrea’s home is warm, safe and welcoming. Her bond with my boy is so lovely to see and it’s so reassuring he’s in such a fab environment with a caring adult looking out for him.
Since being in Andrea’s care he’s come on leaps and bounds with communication and development.
Andrea is flexible and accommodating. She keeps us up to date with my boys day with activities he’s done and how he’s been.
I would 100% recommend Andrea.

Where to start with Andrea. Outstanding, loving, caring, kind and just all round amazing.
My little boy started with Andrea and from day one he was settled and content instantly. Andrea offers amazing educational sessions but given with love and care. She really does treat my little one as his own and we will forever be grateful.
I would recommend Andrea to anyone who is looking within the area.
Jump at the opportunity like we did, we never looked back.

My first experience with looking for full time care for my daughter. I came out of a nursery setting as we were constantly plagued by illness. We haven't been I'll since being with Andrea as everything is so clean and well put together. My daughter started to grow leaps and bounds after just a couple of weeks in her care and there was a bond developing in no time at all. Andrea is a very caring person and estelles every need is attended to. I get daily updates pictures and texts and I feel informed as to the skills Estelle is building aswell as the play times. Andrea only takes on three children maximum and I'm really glad of our place here rather than in a busy nursery setting. She teams up with another childminder on one day a week and all the children play together. I only have good things to say about Andreas daycare, if you are looking for a home from home caring childminder then look no further ☺️

This was my first time using a childminder, in fact, looking for a childcare setting in general for my first born before I went back to work. My son was 9 months old when he started with Andrea. The setting was always clean and presentable, and was definitely the home from home environment that I wanted. Would just like to say a huge thank you to Andrea for having my son, super grateful and very appreciative for the time and attention given to him. Highly recommend!

This was the first time with my children that I had to look for a childminder to go back to work,which was not easy I had been and seen many settings but something was quiet what I wanted,until someone recommended andrea to me,from the moment I walked in I new andrea was the one to look after my daughter. My daughter was very clingy and to watch andrea be able to settle and comfort her was very reassuring for me, my daughter has now been with andrea nearly two years and we have grown a very close bond,we are always kept up to date with how my daughter has been through out the day and what they have been doing ,andrea is a very kind caring lady and her setting is always clean and presentable

To whom it may concern,
Andrea has been more than a childminder to us for over a year now. She is an extension of our family. She is able to bring a mothering quality to the caring of our daughter, in an environment that is homely, secure and loving.
As well as caring for our daughter she also cares for the whole family. Asking after family members and remembering birthdays and such like
Andrea has a wealth of experience and is great at presenting ideas and suggestions and yet is never pushy. If we say “thanks but we want to do xyz instead” then she is really adaptable
Our daughter has had special requirements (allergies) and Andrea has dealt with this brilliantly and conservatively. Always keeping us up to date and helping ensure her needs are more than met in this area
Andrea has a structured approach to childminding which has helped our daughter develop in leaps and bounds but always through the element of play. The learning our daughter has been able to do has blown us all away and Andrea has been a big part of that
I honestly could not recommend Andrea as a childminder enough.
