About Me
Hello, my name is Jackie Witham
I have been a fully registered childminder since 2014 living in Caterham on the hill. I have just taken a refresher course updating my first aid with "Daisy first aid" in October 2016, Plus I have also been on a course updating "Safeguarding"
In July 2016 I had an Ofsted inspection which I was given a GOOD by the Ofsted inspector.
I am married with 5 children the oldest being 27 and the youngest is 15. only 3 of my children live with me now!! We live in a 5 bedroom house in Caterham with a safe and secure garden. We have a seperate playroom and a large open plan kitchen/diner and a bathroom downstairs
All children in my care will be looked after with the same care and respect as my own children. I will offer a home cooked meal everyday and can accommodate any food allergies etc.
The activities I will be offering are play doh, baking, water play, painting etc and with parental consent I will be taking children to local parks for picnic etc. For slightly older children I will take them to the seaside and to London to various attractions.
I am also available for "one off'' extra help if needed in school holiday time or inset days when it's just not possible to take time off from work.
My Experience
As a mother of 5 children my experience is vast!! I have always taken care of my own children so I am confident I will be able to offer this experience to other families.
I looked after a child and her baby brother 20 years ago when my eldest son went to school for 5 years but sadly they left to go and live in America.

I am available Monday to Friday from 7am to 6.30pm although any early or late drop off's are negotiable.

Jackie is absolutely amazing, she looked after my daughter for 9 months. The days were packed with lots of educational activities and fun days out. Jackie was always incredibly caring treating everything with the upmost care and compassion. She's incredibly accommodating and always willing to share advise. The setting is lovely with plenty of outdoor space and lots to keep the children entertained for hours. Every drop of and collection my daughter was always happy and content. Highly reccomend to anyone looking locally .

My son has been with Jackie for nearly two years and she is by far the best childcare we could have chosen. She regularly takes the children out on different days out and always makes an effort to keep activities varied and fun. She keeps us up to date with pictures and is very in touch with how he is feeling and developing. My son has always loved seeing Jackie and has so much to tell me about his day. Could not recommend more :)

Jackie has looked after both my boys, I trust her implicitly. It was always nice to be able to drop them and know that they were well cared for, as if they were her own.
She takes them on lovely excursions and does a range of activities with them at home from crafts to outdoor water and messy play and always comes up with lovely and new ideas.
Jackie’s home is very welcoming and a nice home from home experience, especially for the younger ones who need the reassurance at a young age.
Jackie is very kind and caring by nature and cares a huge amount for the children she looks after.
Thank you Jackie, we will miss you a lot.

Jackie has looked after both my girls. My eldest has a nut allergy which Jackie was absolutely amazing with.
Jackie takes the kids on days out to Heaver Castle, Godstone Farm, Dobbies, local park and many other places. Jackie's home is wonderful for the kids with a large variety of toys for them to play with and a beautiful back garden. They have a set routine when they arrive which involved taking their shoes off and putting them in their named boxes and hanging up their coats. I think it's great for the little ones to learn these things from a young age. Jackie has assisted weaning my children off dummies, bottles and with also supports with potty training.
Jackie sets up a WhatsApp group for your child and send any questions, updates and photos through so you can see what your child has been up to which is really nice.
My girls absolutely love Jackie.

Our daughter started with Jackie in September 2018. She settled really well and is always very happy when we collect her in the evening. She is well loved and looked after and really enjoys her time. Our daughter has a nut allergy which Jackie is amazing with, she always double checks everything that is handed out at toddlers. We feel very fortunate to have Jackie as our childminder, we would recommend her to everyone. :)

Jackie has been looking after my 4 year old 3 days a week since September 2014 and I can't fault her at all. She's brilliant. Takes her out for day trips to the seaside and farms, soft play areas. The park after school. She's made pumpkins and planted flowers and made lots of yummy cakes :)
The best part is Jackies family. Her children and husband all treat Isabelle as part of the family. They are so kind.towards her and make her laugh all the time. It was very important for me.to find someone that wasn't just a childminder but also a friend. And Jackie is certainly that!
Whenever I have needed extra hours. Or extra school pick ups Jackie always manages to help me.out. She even looked after my 2 year old over the Christmas holidays as his nursery was closed. And he loved it there too.
I can't thank her enough for the kindess and warmth she has shown to not only my children but my whole family and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
