About Me
I have been married to my husband since 1990 and have enjoyed being a mother so much. We have two daughters and a son.
I have used 3 very wonderful childminders myself as a working parent for my two daughters. They have inspired me that much that I decided to become a childminder myself.
I really love being able to support and encouraged children's development, learning and understanding.
I enjoy being able to be one part of a child's life journey and helping them to reach their own full potential, leading to them being confident, self assured and independent individuals.
I am very passionate about children being able to have lots of fun and active learning while they play and have positive experiences and friendships, while fulfilling activities in safe, happy and enabling environments, so all children can fore fill their full potential and gain rich life experiences.
My aim is to provide for all your childcare needs and requirements and give you and your child support while working with you as I carry this out on your behalf.
My hobbies are reading, baking, walking, theatre and watching films
Favourite thing is spending time with my family and pets.
My current Ofsted grading is Good
My setting/family home is a detached house with a front and enclosed rear gardens as well as a large green field at front and ample driveway which can be used be the children under my close and constant supervision.
It is situated in the lovely village of Tallington which has many beautiful walks and a fantastic children's play park which I regularly use with the children in my care.
I attend some children's toddler groups and 1 childminding group to allow the children in my setting to mix and socialise in larger group situations.
I take the children on regular trips and experiences
I am one of the vacancy co-ordinator of the Deeping Childminding Group a very proactive group.
My Experience
I have been childminding since 2003
I have over 20 years of volunteering as a leader in theGirl Guiding movement working with Rainbows, Brownies and Guides.
I have also volunteered with the RDA working with children and adults.
I currently volunteer with a local Charity for children and young people with brain tumours.
I have 3 children of my own a girl (1996) girl (2001) boy (2009)
I worked one day a week for 6 years at the local Children's Centre for a parental support group for refereed children only. I also assisted the Children's Centre teacher leading and planning their Messy Play Sessions and have helped at several children's
Play sessions while parents on courses.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 & 4 in Early Years and I am on the pathway to a Degree.
I do regular training throughout each year, I attend conferences, workshops and seminars.
I have been trained as a Peep trainer.
SENCO training for my own setting
Food hygiene, first aid, child safeguarding and protection , health and safety
My Availability
5 days a week Monday to Friday normal hours 8am-5pm longer and shorter hours can be arranged if your childcare needs requires it.
I offer full and part time spaces. As well as before and after school places

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
£5.00 per hour per child normal rate, £10.00 per per child after 7pm.
£6.00 per meal per child if you require meals otherwise you can provide your own meals for your child
.45p per mile for fuel costs (only applied if extra mileage is required on top of your normal childcare requirements)
