About Me
hi I am a married mum of 3 children, I have a 18 year old daughter and twin boys who are all at school. I also a little cockapoo dog.
i have been living on Canvey for nearly 9 years now, we have had our garage converted into a lovely playroom for the children to play safely. we regularly spend our days out going to different parks, forests walks and farms and the sea life centre and having fun in a safe and welcoming environment.
My Experience
I have lots of experience working and caring for children . I have nursery and pre school experience and have relevant qualifications which includes level 3 diploma working with young children from 0 to 19 years. I am registered with Ofsted and have a full dbs. First aid, safe guarding and have completed a food hygiene course with a rating ( 5) from environmental health service. I enjoy working with children and helping them to develop whilst offering a warm and secure and safe environment.as well as fun and welcoming. my setting offers a bright and friendly atmosphere where children can enjoy a range of activities which include arts and crafts, baking, fun and games indoors and out.
I have a public liability insurance and also hold a full paediatric certificate. I also hold a full driving licence which enables me to go on lots of day trips out of the area which include farms, woods, museums, educational and fun days out.
I regularly attend various training webinars to keep up with my knowledge of childcare and attend termly meetings with Essex early years services .
I have recently completed level 3 elklan language and communication award to help support children's speech and language.
I work very closely with parents taking in to account of each child's needs. parents will be informed about your child's day including activities, and food eaten and nap times which will give the parents a full picture of your child's day.

My son has been spending 4 days a week with Belinda since I went back to work beginning of September. He loves his time there. He smiles at drop off and immediately wants a cuddle from her. I know he's well looked after, he gets enough opportunities to nap and they do a range of fun activities. He's given good food and it's so nice not to have to pack lunches for him or to worry that he's not eating well. Belinda also does daily photo updates which is lovely.

My son has been with Belinda for 2 years now and loves his time there. They’ve gone to so many different places and done so many different activities that I would never have thought of. He has learnt so much and made good friends.
I was so nervous to go back to work and leave my baby with someone else, but Belinda put me at ease from the very first time we met and has always made everything so much easier. We receive pictures and updates throughout the day which makes us feel included and our son always comes home with a smile on his face and a painting or something he’s made during the day and it’s lovely.
I’d highly recommend Belinda, we’d be lost with her!

thank you sherene for your lovely words lenny is such a lovely little boy and its was a pleasure to have looked after him..
Our little girl started at Belinda’s just as the lockdown began last year and despite all the playgroups, farms, sealife centres etc being closed Belinda has gone above and beyond to make sure the children are kept entertained each day, from painting in the forest, trips to the beach, picnics in the parks and some beautiful arts and crafts that we get as keepsakes. There is always a fun day to be had. Belinda was so patient with Emily during the settling in period, it only took 2 sessions until Emily was all smiles when being dropped off in the mornings. Would highly recommend Belinda’s setting, it’s a home from home for the children and I feel so at ease knowing Emily’s in safe hands.

thank you for your lovely reveiw, so pleased emily settled here and enjoyed her days spent with us.
My little boy has been going to Belinda's now since July 2019, two days a week and absolutely loves it!
He gets so excited on the days he goes to Belinda's and I look forward to picking him up and hearing about what he has been up to. They are always out and about keeping busy and he is provided with hot healthy meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
He was only 8 months when he started with Belinda and I didn't want to put him into a nursery with a big class of children so chose a childminder and it's the best decision I've made, it's like he has become part of Belinda's family.
100% recommend Belinda she is amazing!!

Wow, Belinda is a fantastic childminder. I am so glad I picked Belinda to look after my daughter!
Belle has been going to Belinda for a good couple of months now, I never thought she would of settled but she settled quickly and loves it there.
She is very well looked after and is always taken out to groups, farm, sealife centre. They are always out and about doing something. Belles development has really come on since going to Belinda. Now belle has started eating solids Belinda makes her home made meals.
I cannot recommend this lady enough,
It makes me happy that I know my child is well looked after. Belinda always makes sure I know what belle has eaten through the day, where they have been, nappies changes and naps etc. Nothing is ever to much trouble for Belinda.
A very welcoming family.

i have absoutley loved caring for belle for the last 3.5 years. she is like one of my family.
Wow belinda is an absolute super star.
My 2 year old William hated nursery and would sob constantly whilst there. He has been with ‘dinda’ for nearly a year, does 2 full time days and he loves it. I cannot recommend belinda enough, she is an amazing mum, childminder and someone I now consider my friend.
I cannot recommend belinda enough, the children are always off out somewhere. William is such a character and being with Belinda has built his confidence and he loves her. I am already dreading him leaving her for school.

My son has been going to Belinda for some time now and he loves it!
I couldn't recommend her enough.
She is great with the kids, they are always so happy to be there with her.
They are always out and about doing things and having fun!
They always have nice home cooked food.
Belinda is a kind caring lovely lady who will take good care of your child. She feels like more of a friend then just a childminder.

My 2 year old has been with Belinda for a year now and has settled in really well. He loves going here and even asked me to go when it's his day off! Nothing is too much trouble and the environment is like a home from home. He goes on day trips to butterfly wings or the farm. He also gets taken to playgroup most mornings now winter is here which he loves. Lovely lady and lovely home environment. Thouroughly recommend!

My little boy has been going to Belinda for 7 months now and he absolutely loves it. Belinda provides lovely home cooked meals for him and takes him to groups and for walks/activities etc. She is fantastic and very thoughtful, he has received presents for both his birthday and Christmas which is a really nice touch. Belinda makes sure to tell me everything he's been up to that day and she keeps a daily diary for him, which tells me what he's eaten and his nappies throughout the day etc. I can't recommend her enough! Couldn't ask for anyone better.
