Awesome Child minder

I was really nervous about leaving my 5month old with anyone but Nicky put me at ease and was very assuring. My baby has really loved staying at Nicky’s. She was very content and relaxed around Nicky, the other children and Nicki’s family. She could barely sit up right when she first started but Nikky patiently supported us through weaning, teething, sitting, crawling, standing and waking! She was very kind and understanding during the times when I was very stressed out and disorganized, she helped wherever she could and always went the extra mile. I enjoyed all the WhatsApp pictures she sent everytime she was with my daughter. I’m so grateful for all the times she knackered my baby so that I could enjoy long sleeps !

Amazing childminder

Nicky has looked after 3 of my children in the past 5 years. My eldest 2 are now teenagers so she currently still has my 6yr old son. I have always been made very welcome in her home and she alwats lends me a friendly ear if i need help with something. All my children have loved coming to nicks and Aj never wants to come home. There is always fun activities going on and when the sun is shining alot of out door adventures. I can not fault the care given to the children. Very friendly lady and loving family who welcome you into their home.

Goes above and beyond.

Nicky has worked incredibly hard over the last year she has looked after my daughter to ensure she is happy and settled with her.

Nicky and her family are very welcoming and there is a wonderful warmth about their house. Nicky provides excellent communication between herself and parents, daily updates are recorded in the diary and the termly learning journals are teaming with information and wonderful moments from my daughter's time with Nicky.

I would highly recommend Nicky to anyone. She is flexible, seeks advice from parents if needed and very much sees her work as a partnership with parents. The children spend lots of time outside, visiting local parks and playgrounds. Nicky organises lots of different activities each day for the children to participate in.

We are only moving on as my daughter will now start attending nursery. Thank you Nicky.

Fantastic child minder

Nicky looked after my son for around a year, he was shy an didn’t like leaving us, he come out of his shell within a couple of weeks an loved going to nickys, he loved her dog buzz an he family, he enjoyed all the adventures an games he done an learnt so much thank you Nicky

Amazing

I spoke to a few childminders an really didn’t feel at ease leaving my son with them, then I spoke to an met Nicky an My son (2 years old at the time) instantly clicked with her, she really made me feel At ease an happy knowing I could go back to work an know he would be safe an happy he went to her for 2 days Mondays an Fridays initially an loved being there an would always ask to go to nickys on the other days of the week, we added a Wednesday in, he always had lots to tell me at the end of the day, Billy achieved so much being with Nicky 3days a week,

Home from Home!

Everyone is a little nervous about returning to work after having a child but Nicky has been outstanding and ever since our child joined her at just under a year old he has grown in confidence, skills, social skills and so much more. She plans great days for the children and does as much as she can outside with nature. His academic skills such as speaking, numbers, colours etc improve every week due to the activities that Nicky sets for him. He loves his days with her and has so much fun! We love the daily diary we receive and always look forward to his ‘learning journals’ which she makes each term as this allows us to be a part of it. We are so thankful that we found her (via a recommendation) as its a great setting and our son loves her!

Fantastic childminder

Nicky is an excellent childminder and we feel lucky that she has provided childcare for our daughter for nearly two years since she turned one.

Nicky is very professional and is excellent at communicating, for instance we have a detailed daily diary each day filled in with the day's activities, milestones and routine information regarding naps, eating etc. Our daughter absolutely loves going to Nicky's house and we are thrilled with her progress. We are able to have effective two-way communication with Nicky about what our daughter is interested in at the moment and are able to have continuity between her setting and home as regards to learning numbers, alphabet, shapes and so on. Each day our daughter brings home things that she has made or paintings and drawings.

Nicky is a firm believer in fresh air and our daughter has spent many happy hours outside on their long walks and at the parks, which is a big bonus, as well as going to various playgroups. Balanced and delicious meals mean that we know our daughter is getting what she needs and enjoying her food.

We cannot recommend this setting enough - NIcky has a lovely family who have formed very strong, caring bonds with our daughter and she really has provided a home from home for our daughter.

Lovely caring, home-from-home childcare

Our daughter was with Nicky from the age of 6 months until she was just over 1 (at which point Nicky went on maternity leave). Our little girl was very happy and settled at Nicky's house and she loved the interaction with the other children too. Nicky is calm, very capable and caring with all of the children and I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder. Nicky did lots of arts/crafts with the children and visited the local playgroups. She gave our daughter a great start and a caring, homely environment which she loved.

Great Childcare

Our son was with Nicky from 6 months until he was 2, we moved on to alternative childcare when Nicky went on maternity leave to have her lovely daughter.
It is a difficult time when you first leave your child with someone else, especially when they are so young but Nicky really helped make this much more bearable as she is such a lovely caring person. She genuinely cares about our son, his time with Nicky was always filled with fun and learning. Lots of trips to the park or bug hunting or even just simple play time in the garden.
Our son genuinely enjoyed his time with Nicky and loves to meet up with her and her family even now.

Amazing Childminder

NIcky is simply incredible. Our son has been in her care since he was six months old (apart from over her maternity leave) and we simply can't take all the credit for how well he is developing.

Nicky provides a superb service with structured days, well balanced meals, and a caring and supportive environment where everyhting he does is well documented and we can relax when he is in her care.

Our son is always coming home with the spoils of the day. Whether it be paintings, sculptures, or yummy baked goods.

The only time our son is unhappy with Nicky is when he has to leave.
