Hello I am Tina a 51 year old nanny I am relaxed, easy going, fun, and caring and have 31 years of childcare experience and I love my job and can't think of anything else that I would rather be doing.
I have 2 daughters aged 25 and 31
In previous years I was a nanny first then when my children were younger a childminder and following that the deputy manager of a local nursery where I worked for 11 years, I was also deputy manager at an After School Club for 11 years.
I then left to restart my nannying career.
I looked after 2 little boys for 2 years before their circumstances changed and they no longer needed a nanny
I then went on to work for a lovely family for 6 years, from when the children were 3 and 5 I left as their mum gave up her job to start a new business and they no longer needed a nanny.
I currently work Monday to Friday wrap around looking after 3 children aged 5,7 and 10.
I also look after my 10 year old and 4.year old grandsons on occasional Saturdays while my daughter and her fiancée are at work.
I am organised, honest, hard working and conscientious with good time keeping skills,
In my spare time I love reading, running, live music and walking my 3 dogs Daisy a 12 year old french bulldog and Daphne and Barry 8 and 10 year old Yorkie Russells.
I am Ofsted registered and accept childcare vouchers.
I have an enhanced DBS
I have a First Aid certificate, as well as the addition of epipen training.
I have a clean driving licence held for 31 years and excellent references.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for 32 years.I started nannying at 18, in the past 24 years I have looked after children ranging from newborn to 13 years old.
In my job I love being outdoors with the children and I have both RHS and National Trust membership which I make good use of, I love baking, playing board games, crafts and am happy to throw myself in to imaginative play.
I was a childminder when my children were younger, and when they started school I began working at a local pre school with children ages 2 to 4 where I eventually became deputy manager sadly due to low numbers the pre school closed.
I have added experience of 4 to 11 year olds from my work at an after school club where myself and my colleagues were responsible for up to 60 children a day I was also deputy manager for my last year and responsible with the manager for the day to day running of the ASC. I left due to my nanny family needing more hours.
I have looked after my 10 year old grandson every Saturday since he was 6 months old while my daughter and her partner are at work.
I also also helped run a toddler group in the village where I nannied for a while.
In my previous jobs I looked after 2 boys aged 4 and 6 I left there when their circumstances changed and they no longer needed a Nanny.
I then looked after 2 girls aged for 5 years and left when their mum gave up her job to start her own company and work from home.
I am currently nannying during term time for a 5 year old girl, 7 year old boy and a 10 year old girl doing wrap around care, I have been with them for 5 years in August but as I am missing the day time childcare aspect of the job now the youngest has started school, they have agreed that dad will have the children before and after school 2 days a week as he works from home, to enable me to find a 2 day job after struggling to find work during school hours.

My Availability
I am currently available for 2 full days preferably Monday and Thursday or Friday or ad hoc day times between 9.30am and 2pm, weekend and summer holiday work and evening babysitting
